ThePokemon TCG’s journey through Paldea continues later this year via the game’s next expansion - Stellar Crown. As the name and artwork of the expansion will have already confirmed to those who have played through Scarlet & Violet’s Hidden Treasure Of Area Zero DLC, the TCG’s next expansion builds on The Indigo Disk. It will feature the introduction of legendary Pokemon Terapagos and also includes Cinderace ex, Lapras ex, and Galvantula ex cards. The DLC’s Hydrapple also gets its first card, but perhaps more exciting than all of that is the introduction of new powers to the game.
Terapagos and the three ex Pokemon mentioned above will be Stellar Tera Pokemon. A phenomenon introduced via Scarlet & Violet’s DLC that gives a terastallized Pokemon the power of all types. Each of those Pokemon will have unique Stellar attacks that will do a significant amount of damage. Pokemon TCG: Scarlet & Violet Stellar Crown Elite Trainer Box
The Pokemon TCG’s Stellar Crown expansion elite trainer box includes 11 booster packs and a foil promo Noctowl card that includes an exclusive stamp if bought through the Pokemon Center. The box also comes with everything else you need to get you started with the TCG.
As usual, the elite trainer box should be your first port of call if you want to kick things off with a little bit of everything. 11 booster packs as well as card sleeves, energy cards, and a guide on the Stellar Crown expansion. The ETB also includes a foil promo Noctowl card with the Pokemon Center logo stamped on it. Even though the box will be available to buy through other retailers in the future, the Noctowl card included will not have a Pokemon Center logo on it, making this particular card rarer than the version most others will have.
