I’ll have something a bit more put-together to say in the not-too-distant future, so please stay tuned.

Yosuke Saito Has A Second Project In The Works

Not only is Saito bringing the Nier gang back together for a game that may or may not be another entry in the series, but he is also working on a second project. We don’t know much about it yet, but he did hint at it being a completely original IP.

Saito also worked as an executive producer onDrakengardand Star Ocean: Till the End of Time. He even dabbled inDragon Questas a producer on Awakening of the Five Tribes and Echoes of an Elusive Age.

“I’m doing various things with the idea of creating something that does not yet exist,” Saito said. “I can’t devote my time to that fully, so most if has been left to the staff, but it’s turning into something quite interesting. I’m looking forward to the day we can announce it.”

While we wait for Schrodinger’s Nier, there’s alwaysStellar Blade, a brand-new action RPG that has drawn countless comparisons since it was first unveiled. It even got Yoko Taro’s stamp of approval whenhe said that it is “much better” than Automata.

“Stellar Blade is a really amazing game,” Taro said. “I’d say that it’s much better than Nier: Automato. I have been acquainted with Mr. Kim’s works since Magna Carta: Tears of Blood. Your illustrations are of a very high quality.”
