10Frieza / Frieza, Scourge Of Saiyans

First up is the Special Leader Rare version of Frieza, which takes the usually uncommon Leader card and gives it a special twist to make it shine whether you’re out to play with it or justcollect your favorite Dragon Ball Z villain.
This Frieza Leader lets you take a peek at the top five cards of your deck, adding a green or yellow Frieza card from among them and adding it to your hand. Once you Awaken Frieza, you get a 15,000-power Leader with some absolutely fantastic artwork of the galactic emperor in his fully powered-up form.

9Tapion / Tapion, Hero Revived In The Present

A legendary hero from another world, Tapion and its flip side, Tapion, Hero Revived in the Present is another Special Leader Rare with a fancy alternate art on the back of the card. From the Tapion side, you get an incredibly thematic ability that lets you look at the top five cards of your deck to find a Trunks: Youth, Hero, or Phantom Demon card and add it to your hand.
Fans of the film Dragon Ball Z: Wrath of the Dragon will immediately recognize this ability given Tapion’s relationship with the young Saiyan.

Once you meet the condition of his Awaken, you can flip him to Tapion, Hero Revived in the Present. This Hero trait Leader lets you use one blue Hero card with an energy cost of one in your Drop in a combo, letting you always have something to trigger in Battle.

Once Vegeta gets in touch with his more sensitive side, he gets a huge power-up so long as you have a red Z-Unison with a base power of 20,000 or more, giving Vegeta a bonus 5,000 power and critical.

The first non-Special Leader Rare card is another Vegeta card, but this time he’s got a power boost. The SS2 Vegeta, Charging Rage cards boasts 20,000 power for a total of eight energy, two of which have to be red.
Don’t let that high cost intimidate you. You can get the Saiyan prince out early with his ability, so long as your leader is a red Vegeta or Bulma card, and you have three or more energy. When a red Earthling card is removed from your Battle Area thanks to a skill, you get to draw a card and put SS2 Vegeta into play.

6Son Goku / SS Son Goku, Beginning Of A Legend

We’re back to Special Leader Rare cards with the release of Son Goku and its flip side, SS Son Goku, Beginning of a Legend. Depicting Goku’s traumatic time on Namek and his first transformation into a Super Saiyan, Son Goku can flip into his golden form once you hit four life, or if you have a green Z-Unison card with a cost of two in play.
Once flipped, the Super Saiyan Goku comes with a plethora of abilities, giving either himself or your other cards some major power boosts with his effects. SS Son Goku’s Activate: Battle effect lets you draw a card and then give one of your cards an extra 5,000 power, helping shape the battle in your favor.

The last Secret Leader Rare card from Beyond Generations is also the most valuable of them, with SS4 Son Goku & SS4 Vegeta, and the Awaken side, SS4 Vegito, Sparking Potara Warrior drawing inspiration from the Super Dragon Ball Heroes series with the Xeno versions of both heroes.
This Leader wants you to make the most out of your Xeno cards, letting you draw a card anytime you use a Son Goku or Vegeta: Xeno card as a part of a combo. Once they flip into the fused entity of Vegito, one of the strongest entities in the universe.

A Secret Rare from Beyond Generations, we get another Vegito card, the fusion of Goku and Vegeta after they both wear the Potara Earrings. This time, however,they have gone Super Saiyan Bluerather than the much harrier Super Saiyan 4.
This Black card has a cost of eight energy, but it is reduced by three so long as you have four or more energy, and then for each marker you have on your Z-Unison, potentially reducing this card’s cost by a lot. This is great since it has triple strike, making it a massive threat to your opponents.

3Porunga, Dragon Of Dreams

Dragons in Dragon Ball Z are nigh-omnipotent, all-powerful entities, capable of performing impossible tasks like reviving the dead or reforming blown-up planets. In the Dragon Ball Super Card Game Masters, Porunga, the dragon native to the people of Namek, he comes as a green and yellow Secret Rare powerhouse.
Despite having a staggering 40,000 power, Porunga can’t attack, reflecting on how the often almighty beings are not active fighters or participants in many of the events of the show. Porunga has two main abilities, one that has three modes and you can activate three times per turn. Each of these effects have major impacts on the game, as if you were making a wish upon the Dragon Balls.

Some cards in Dragon Ball Super are so powerful, your deck can’t handle more than one of them. SS3 Son Goku, Wrath of the Dragon is one of those cards, which has the Ultimate keyword attached to it, meaning you may only have one of this card and any other card with this keyword in your deck.
Given its effects, this limitation makes since. For two blue energy, once per turn, you can pick one of any of your opponent’s battle cards and tuck in back to the bottom of their deck. As if that wasn’t enough, you also get to give one of your own cards and give it a 10,000 boost in power for the turn.
