Summary
Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtreeis just over a week away from launch, but the majority of players aren’t ready, and I don’t mean the vague ‘this isso difficultyou’re about to get your mind blown’ way.
They literally are not ready, since you have to beat Shardbearer Mohg to gain access, and most haven’t done that. Across each platform, the stats look like this:

Don’t forget, you also need to beat Radahn.
Granted, nearly 40 percent of players beating a notoriously difficult boss in a notoriously difficult optional area found at the end of the game, hiddenwithina secret, is pretty high. But that still leaves over half of the player base unable to enter Shadow of the Erdtree.
Where Is Shardbearer Mohg In Elden Ring?
One of the most difficult parts of beating Shardbearer Mohg is finding him to begin with. You have to reach the Consecrated Snowfield via the Grand Lift of Rold, but you need the Haligree Secret Medallion otherwise you’ll end up in a completely different area.
This medallion is split into two parts - the right piece is found in the Village of the Albinaurics in Liurnia of the Lakes, while the left piece is in Castle Sol at the Mountaintop of the Giants.
Shardbearer Mohg is not to be confused with Mohg, the Omen, a ‘different’ boss found in a different location.
Once you have the two pieces and are squelching your boots on the Consecrated Snowfield, you need to find an unmarked portal in the west that will take you straight to Mohgwyn Palace.
Fight your way to the end of this underground dungeon and voila, you’ll be face-to-face with Shardbearer Mohg. We even have a guide onhow to beat himif you’re struggling.
