Summary
In theLast Epoch, there are several fearsome bosses that you will face in the world of Eterra. Many of these tough adversaries drop legendary items and equipment for you to use and develop for builds throughout your adventure.
The way you face these bosses is reminiscent of other ARPGs such as Diablo 4 and Path of Exile.

With the best set of skills and the right set of equipment for builds, you may go through the toughest of adversaries. Even so, a good strategy and a formidable team of NPCs or co-oping with a friend can help you face off the most difficult of the bosses you’ll encounter on your adventures.

Admiral Harton is a large, hybrid monster combined with the mixed parts of a spider crab. Formerly the leader of the Immortal fleet, he was resurrected as this undead abomination to stop your progression on the decks of the ship.

His attacks consist of long-range spells like long fields of lightning spells and closing the distance with lunging claw attacks. He also summons a swarm of storm wisps that can devastate you if you’re unable to clear them out in time.
Insect
Occultist’s Birch Wand, Assassin’s Kris of Sleet, Marauder’s Morning Star, Attunement Shard, Glacial Iron Gauntlets, Mighty Forest Cowl
Argolos is a large scorpion beast that utilizes three elemental forms, ice, fire, and lightning. Each one has different attacks and ways to counter your efforts to take them down. Being flexible with your skills, abilities, and attacks is key to keeping the advantage against Argolos.

In fire form, Argolos uses a fire barrage and protects itself with a shield of flame. In ice form, the monstrous scorpion summons little mook allies that attack you with icy attacks. Finally, in thunder form, Argolos bombards the arena with delayed thunder strikes that spread out in the surroundings.

This monster is a horrific amalgamation of a large bird-like beast with an Osprix attached to its back. He was once a noble general with ambitious aspirations in Rahyeh’s legions. Many of the monster’s attacks include fire breath, explosive fire blasts, and flying around dive-bombing with a large blast radius.

Even when you close the distance to attack the monster up close, now you have to contend with his Osprix body wielding its staff for melee attacks that imbue fire. Having elemental armor resistant to fire can helpensure that you can tank and scale your proper defenseswhile trying to find an opening for attacks.

A Void Lich with terrible power. The Husk of Elder Pannion has several attacks that affect the entire area, including one where a stream of fire comes out in an easily dodged line only to then start spinning around the boss. Along with this attack, the Lich can also drop stalactites from the ceiling, summon void circles, and other dangerous spells.

Fighting this boss turns into a bullet-hell situation, so those with long-range weapons and builds are going to have an easier time clashing with this magic-spamming monstrosity.
Formerly human before corruption

Body Armour, Gorgonscale Goat of Hope, x515 gold, Gaspar’s Will, Gasper’s Acuity, Gaspar’s Insight, Sacrificial Embrace, Ravenous Void
Bigger than Elder Pannion with a more destructive set of spells to use against you, Elder Gaspar is a force to be reckoned with. Elder Gaspar falls from grace into becoming this pitiful monster after he attempts to prevail against the void.

To Defeat his corrupted form, you’ll need to avoid a majority of his AOE attacks and get some openings where you can. His signature attack involves a combination of elemental beams. He also throws dozens of lightning traps along with frost clouds to completely envelop him.

If you do not heed the warnings of Liath about the unpredictable nature of Lagon, she becomes your opponent and is a tough optional boss as a result. She will start in the center of the area and after a final warning in dialogue, she’ll teleport around, blasting you with powerful lightning spells.

Her fierce arsenal of lightning attacks consists of dropping mines around the arena and hurling homing orbs at you. A lot of preparation and a strong build are key to helping you defeat her.
Dragonflame Edict, Symbol of Demise, Twisted Heart of Uhkeiros
This monstrosity is a massive and powerful version of the primeval dragons. It also fights like these beasts with similar animations and movesets. This beast is the final boss of the Reign of Dragons story events. In an alternate timeline of the DIvine era, the dragons soon overwhelmed the Gods of Ettera and took over their power, eventually leading to one particularly strong dragon developing the powers of the void.
Fighting the Emperor of Corpses is very much like taking on a Primeval Dragon with extra steps. The necrotic attack and the ability to resurrect dead thralls to swarm at you. Its fire breath is also much more powerful and is described as a spirit fire.

Void
Unbreakable Heater Shield of the Turtle, Health Potion, Oak Sceptre, Glacial Runic Scroll, Gladius, Rusted Cleaver, Mail Bracers of Stillness, Cultist Blade, Increased Melee Damage Shard, Iron Greaves, Silver Ring of Remedy, Toxic Split Greatsword, Glacial Weathered Coins, x190 Gold, Occultist’s Sacrificial Staff, x2 Glyph of Chaos, Added Melee Lightning Damage Shard, Sacrifical Staff
The former ruler of the Immortal Empire, his twisted remains are loaded with the destructive power of the Void. Combined with his necrotic powers, The Emperor’s Remains can summon orbs that can track you down and burst into other additional attacks and lasers.
When this monster’s health reaches the halfway point, more fearsome attacks open up and the damage threshold increases significantly, making this boss even more dangerous to take damage from.
Nagasa
x2 Glyph of Chaos, Occultist’s Conduit’s Profane Ward of Freezing Stillness, Physical Resistance Shard, Slayer’s Toxic Dragon Staff of Conflagration and Stillness, 599 Gold, Endurance Shard, Shade’s Abyssal Dragon Staff of Authority and Stillness, Leeching Occultist’s Rune Dagger of Glory and Static, Marauder Assassin’s Rusted Cleaver of Sorrow and Stillness
This is a dangerous adversary, capable of one-shotting you if you recklessly go in for the attack. The Chronomancer Julra can also heal through several fountains that you should target first to diminish the boss’s recovery.
Beating this boss is a test of patience, endurance, and tactical diligence. Being careful while she spews out a number of warping attacks and other fearsome attacks. Avoid getting too greedy with attacks and openings as this boss is very easy to die to.
God
Health Potion, Less Bonus Damage Taken from Critical Strikes Shard, Two-Handed Sword, x673 Gold, Increased Melee Stun Chance Shard, Alluvion, Coral Aegis, Stormcarved Testament, Eye of the Storms
The Eldritch God of the deep and the formidable lord of the nightmarish seas. Lagon is essentially Cthulhu and his influence as a major story character follows a similar theme. Lagon is one of the toughest blocks in the game, as you won’t have access to many late-game mechanics without defeating him there.
Beating him is necessary to complete the Seafloor Colosseum. There are three distinct phases in fighting Lagon. For the first phase, his massive frame takes center stage along with several massive tentacles that are the real targets of the fight. The second phase is more of a survival trial against tentacles, minions, and tidal waves. The third and final phase of the battle is just the first phase, only this time it’ll end with the Sea God’s defeat.
