Summary

Homelander is now available inMortal Kombat 1, and fans have already discovered that the character has a unique voice line when using a brutality against Kenshi.

It took a little while, butHomelander is finally in Mortal Kombat 1. He’s joined the likes of Omni-Man and Peacemaker as the final guest character of Kombat Pack 1, and just like them, his appearance in Mortal Kombat 1 has brought with it a bunch of references to The Boys, some gruesome fatalities, and a lot of uncomfortable milk drinking.

Now that Homelander is in the hands of Mortal Kombat 1 players, we finally get to see all these little references for ourselves, and one of the more interesting only occurs when Homelander goes up against Kenshi. First spotted byTwitter user Dizz_NH, there’s a specific brutality you may use against Kenshi which references one of Homelander’s cruelest moments in The Boys.

Homelander Has A Unique Brutality For Kenshi In Mortal Kombat 1

Homelander can do this brutality to anyone on the roster, as they all have eardrums, but he rubs it in even further if his victim is Kenshi. With him also being blind thanks to Mileena, Homelander will slap Kenshi on both sides of the head and leave him writhing in pain, after which he’ll claim Kenshi is now “another f***ing useless blind guy,” which is exactlywhat Homelander says to Blindspotafter he robbed him of his superhuman hearing in Season 2.

It’s somewhat of an iconic line from Homelander, and has actually been referenced in a video game before, as the character occasionally says “just another f***ing useless dead guy” when you play as him inCall of Duty. NetherRealm probably saw that they had a blind person on their roster and couldn’t pass up the opportunity, and for that we applaud them.
