Summary
WithCreators in Fashion– a collaborative runway event put onby the Theorists networkwith a handful of prominent digital creators seeking to bring style into the gaming world – fast approaching, MatPat has had a pretty busy “retirement.” The original Theorist host announced in January that he’d be stepping out of the spotlight for the most part, sticking to behind-the-scenes roles that would allow him to try out new and exciting ideas, including, but certainly not limited to, this ambitious one-night event.
And while Creators in Fashion might be thefirsthybridization of the four distinct Theorists channels, it certainly won’t be the last.

In reading up on the show before I spoke with MatPat, I couldn’t help but raise an eyebrow at another name on the bill.Rosanna Pansino, a creator with a culinary line spun off from her gaming-and-food channel Nerdy Nummies, won’t appear in the event with her brand, but she’ll provide commentary on the six individual runway presentations from other creators throughout the show.
With the anticipated Creators in Fashion bringing a unique mashup of Game Theory and Style Theory, and with Pansino’s name attached to the event, I had to ask if other Theorist collaborations might be in the works down the line.

MatPat could barely contain a smile as he answered simply with an immediate and resounding, “Yes,” already clearly excited by the concept.
How Do Food And Travel Influence One Another In The Digital Age?
Since it’s still fairly early in the planning stages, MatPat wasn’t able to share too many details during our interview, but he told me a bit about an upcoming Theorists collaboration that will focus on food and travel instead of gaming and fashion. Taking place sometime before the end of 2024, MatPat could only tell me that the event would focus on how food, travel, and culture interact and inform one another.
Creators in Fashion, the event I spoke to him about, is an offering from Game Theory and Style Theory, but Food Theory is yet another channel within the Theorists network. There, the team serves up video essays and inventive research-based trials focused on all things culinary, and they’ll be putting on the next collaborative event.
While MatPat didn’t share anything about who exactly would be involved with the next crossover (outside of Food Theorists), the diversity of brands involved with the Creators in Fashion event may end up providing a hint. Pansino is a friend of the Theorists network who rose to fame on her cooking channel and will provide commentary throughout the night for Creators in Fashion. Meanwhile,Yes Theory, a travel-based team of friends exploring the world, will be showing off pieces from their clothing line, Seek Discomfort. It’s a slogan they adopted fairly early into their time as a channel, since, “Life’s most beautiful moments and meaningful connections exist outside our comfort zones.”
Though only time will tell which creators end up taking part in this upcoming travel and cooking venture, MatPat told me it isn’t the only other collaboration the Theorists are cooking up. He and the team have plenty of ideas for collaborative content between their own channels and some pretty prominent others.
He said that the two confirmed events – Creators in Fashion and this food-and-travel crossover – aren’t even the only things coming down the pipe for him and the Theorist team this year, either. MatPat said he’s looking forward to applying what everyone has learned and will continue to learn from Creators in Fashion so they can apply it to other projects down the line.
While we wait for more details on what other collaborations could be announced later this year, check out Creators in Fashion on June 05, 2025 at 5:30PM EST. you’re able to tune into this first-of-its-kind runway event on YouTube on The Game Theorists, The Style Theorists, or the channels of the brands involved in the event, and purchase items modeled on the runway immediately during the show.
