Summary

The officialKingdom HeartsSteamwebsite claims that more information about the series is “coming soon”, which many are taking as a hint towards an impendingKingdom Hearts 4reveal.

Kingdom Hearts fans have justspent the past few years in an undeniable dry spellthanks toMissing Link’s release being delayed a few times from its original 2022 dateandbecause of the complete lack of Kingdom Hearts 4 updates. That’s been painful, but the last few weeks have started to change all that.

Earlier this week,it was confirmed that nearly every game in the Kingdom Hearts series was coming to Steamnext month (except for one) after years of Epic Games Store exclusivity. That was already a win, but thenrumours and leaks started coming out about Kingdom Hearts 4, suggesting that something was on the horizon.

We’ve also finally had some signs that Missing Link is getting closer to release, so it feels like the series is about to fire on all cylinders.

More Kingdom Hearts News Is “Coming Soon”

I almost don’t want to believe that we’re actually going to be getting some news about Kingdom Hearts soon, but that’s exactly what the official Kingdom Hearts Steam page claims is happening. As pointed out by Twitter user GalarAdventurer, a website for the Kingdom Hearts games coming to Steam went live the other day,and it has an interesting quote towards the bottom.

While most of it just focuses on explaining what each game in the Steam collection includes (which is necessary considering how three of them are basically HD collections), a note can be spotted that says, “Stay tuned for more Kingdom Hearts information coming soon”, before asking fans to keep an eye on the series' social pages.

This could feasibly just be referring to the Steam collection of games (or perhaps even the missing Melody of Memory port) but, considering the re-releases are just a few weeks away, it seems more likely that it’s referring to news about something else. To be a pessimist, the recent updates to the Missing Link website could be linked to this news, but we all know what we want it to be - Kingdom Hearts 4.

With Summer Game Fest on the horizon and all of these Kingdom Hearts rumours and news drops happening at the same time, there’s now a pretty good chance that we finally get to see Kingdom Hearts 4 after two years without any news. It’s not confirmed, mind you, but this Steam page update should give us all a little hope.
