Kingdom Heartsfever has somehow gripped the gaming world without even a sniff of when the next game in the series will be released. It’s always a little tense when creators of a Japanese video game series release merch exclusive to Japan as there’s no way of knowing if that merch will make it to the US and other countries until it happens. It’s usually a safe bet when it comes to Square Enix, but not necessarily guaranteed, and even then the wait could be a long one. Thankfully that’s not the case when it comes to this particular Kingdom Hearts collection, and pre-orders for all of the items revealed last week are now open.
There are five watch straps and five earphone case covers in the new Kingdom Hearts collection and all of them are available for pre-order now through the US Square store, but not expected to ship until December 2024. That means they will likely be here before the holidays if you’ve got a Kingdom Hearts fan in your life you need to buy a gift. Slightly more expensive than expected based on exchange rate estimations as each item costs $42.99.

Kingdom Hearts 3 Smart Watch Band - Kairi
Square Enix has a range of watch straps designed to replicate the looks of certain characters from Kingdom Hearts. This particular strap, designed to fit a variety of smart watches, mimicks Kairi’s color scheme in Kingdom Hearts 3.
Sora, Roxas, Riku, and Kairi all have their own watch straps, and the fifth design is a rather smart-looking monogram option. Kairi, Sora, and Riku also have matching earphone case covers, as does the monogram strap, but Roxas does not have a cover of their own. There’s a silver lining in that regard as the treasure chest earphone case cover that completes the collection in place of a Roxas option is my favorite item of the range.

Square Enix’s collection of Kingdom Hearts accessories includes earphone case covers modeled after different character looks from throughout the series. However, this particular case has been designed to look like a Kingdom Hears treasure chest instead.
