Summary
Even though we still don’t know whenKingdom Hearts 4will be here - andthere’s a very real chance it won’t be here until 2026- the video game world is somehow once again gripped by Kingdom Hearts fever. Its long-overdue arrival on Steamhas a lot to do with that. Whether you’re playing through the series again after buying it on Steam or experiencing it for the first time,Square Enixis keen to capitalize on the renewed Kingdom Hearts hype via some new official merch.
Square added officially licensed Apple Watch straps and earphone case covers this week (thanks, Churroz), all of them available for pre-order now and releasing later this year on June 14, 2025. No, not in time for your Kingdom Hearts playthrough on Steam, but well before your first-ever Kingdom Hearts 4 playthrough. There are five designs to choose from in each collection, most of which will match if you plan on picking up one or more of each.

Sora, Riku, and Kairi all have matching watch straps and earphone case cover sets, the designs for which are all based on their looks inKingdom Hearts 3. There’s also a more subtle Monogram design available for the strap and the case. The only designs that don’t have their feet in both products are the Roxas watch strap, based on the character’s look in Kingdom Hearts 2, and my favorite item across both collections, the Treasure Box earphone cover case that has been designed to look like, you guessed it, a Kingdom Hearts treasure box.
Now Make Kingdom Hearts Playable On Apple Watch
The only caveat, for now at least, is that all of the items are exclusively listed onSquare Enix’s Japanese store. That doesn’t mean they won’t find their way onto the US version of the store as well as others. For now, you will need to order them from Japan if you want them, and they’re all 4,950 yen ($32) each. Not too bad for officially licensed Kingdom Herts merch, although that will start to stack up if you want more than just one item or set.
If you’re keen to own something Kingdom Hearts-themed without spending anything at all, that is technically possible right now. Square is running a sweepstake during whichit will give away as many as seven Steam Decksbundled with Kingdom Hearts' Integrum Masterpiece, and the first prize Deck is signed by Tetsuya Nomura. Even though it won’t cost you anything, with more than three million entries in the sweepstake and counting, the odds of winning one of those Decks are already pretty slim.
