Summary
Kingdom Heartscharacters might be coming toFortnite, as the series is rumoured to be collaborating with the battle royale. This is said to be part of a big push to secure more Kingdom Hearts collaborations, indicating that we might see Sora and the gang in other games too.
This would also line up withDisney investing $1.5 billion in Epic Gamesearlier this year. It could open up the possibility of its own characters being included in the rumoured Kingdom Hearts crossover, not justSquare Enix’s own creations.
Kingdom Hearts Could Be Coming To Fortnite
This rumour comes to us from reliable leaker, Midori, who haspreviouslyleakeddetails on the Persona series. Over on Twitter, she reveals that there’s going to be an initiative to see Kingdom Hearts crossover with other games, one of them being Fortnite.
Midori doesn’t have any details outside of this, so we don’t know how big of a collaboration this will be and when it will go live. Still, if this is true, then it makes up for how quiet it’s been for fans since Kingdom Hearts 4 was announced back in April 2022.
In fact, 2024 could be a very exciting year for fans. While we don’t have anything official yet, there’s apparently a Kingdom Hearts movie in the works, which issaid to be a mix of animation and live-action. This, on top of the rumoured Fortnite deal andconfirmed Steam releases, means that Square Enix might be trying to revive the fanbase in time for Kingdom Hearts 4.
At the very least, even if we just stick with what we do know, we have every single Kingdom Hearts game coming to Steam on June 13. You’ll be able to get all the titles at once in the Kingdom Hearts Integrum Masterpiece package, otherwise you’re able to pick up Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX, Kingdom Hearts 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, and Kingdom Hearts 3 + Re Mind DLC separately.
