The Nuphy Air75 V2 is a 75% keyboard, designed for portable, wireless use. It boasts a colourful, simplistic aesthetic while offering many great functionalities and design choices that push for a stand-out keyboard.
It certainly does stand out, but it’s likely not to be everyone’s first choice, leaning more towards on-the-go professional use than for a home office or gaming setup, which are the two more common factors in deciding on a keyboard.

Desktop experience with or without the desk. Desktop, laptop, or mountain top…the agility of our V3 stands, paired with Air75’s great portability, give their users great liberties in choosing the place and style to work & play.
However, it still has plenty of options for switches, colours, travel cases, and you can even use Nuphy’s Custom Keyboard Designer to make it your own. But if you’re thinking about picking one up, here are the things you’ll need:

Thoughts & Impressions
I’m by no means a keyboard expert, but as a general user, I have had a great time using this keyboard so far. It is worth noting, however, that the keyboard is US layout, so any UK users may have to adapt, change the layout, or switch out the keycaps - all easy enough processes, and none get in the way too much.
The box presentations is great, and keeps that minimalist aesthetic that the overall design is going for. Inside you’ll find the neatly wrapped keyboard, the cable you can use if you want to plug it in directly or while charging, a 2.4 wireless receiver, some key removal tools, and extra switches and keycaps.

The keyboard itself can be used in numerous ways, and has multiple switches on the back: one to switch between Windows and Mac functionality, and one to change it from Off, Wired, and Wireless modes.
It’s simple and quick to set up, and I was away right after plugging it in - both wired and wireless modes worked brilliantly with my laptop, and I could see myself using this when it comes to travel, while needing a fully-fledged portable keyboard that can offer that bit more than a laptop keyboard.

It feels great, the sounds are soft enough but clicky if you want that - and the range of switches you can choose from means you’ll have the sound and feel best suited to you - and the overall design is quite flat and sleek, keeping it simple and not too loud or proud amongst other peripherals.
That said, I was back to my dedicated keyboard for the desktop setup - though using the Nuphy Air75 V2 is enjoyable enough, anyone who is used to or fond of typical mechanical keyboard will likely miss that element for their home setup. Even though my main keyboard is a 65%, I consider the Nuphy to be a secondary keyboard that is lightweight and ready to travel at a moment’s notice.

Is It Worth It?
Overall, the Nuphy Air75 V2 is going to be a worthwhile keyboard if you’re looking for something lightweight, portable, and ideal for travelling while connecting it to various devices. It is raring to go, especially if you grab one of the travel cases for it too, and yet it still offers up plenty of care and sophisticated hardware within the build.
That said, for a static home office or a gaming setup, it might not be the best first choice, as there are countless other markets dedicated to suiting those wants and needs alone. Still, with a sleek design and a quiet-yet-audible clack to the usability, it might just be exactly what you want, if you’re leaning away from typical mechanical keyboards and RGB setups.
