Summary
It’s only been two days since Josh Keaton’s Agent Spider character (a clearSpider-Manstand-in) appeared in the Season Two finale ofInvincible, but fans have already modded him intoMarvel’s Spider-Man.
The second season of Invincible might have stumbled a bit thanks to the four-week hiatus after the first few episodes, but it managed to stick the landing with astrong finale that has everyone excited about the show’s future. Ever since Season Two was first announced, one of the main things that fans wanted to see (especially since the show teased it several times) is a cameo from Spider-Man, who appeared briefly along with other Marvel heroes in the comics.
That isn’tquitewhat happened though. Instead of Spider-Man himself appearing in the episode, Mark encountered an original character called Agent Spider (voiced by Josh Keaton),who is basically just legally distinct Spider-Man with a more militaristic suitinstead of the classic red-and-blue we all know and love.
Agent Spider Has Made It Into Marvel’s Spider-Man
Agent Spider might not have been the Spider-Man we all wanted to see in Invincible, but it was still a nice bit of fan service that showed some love for the crossover and did something new with it. It seems to have made quite an impact on fans already, as one incredibly talented modder, reza825_, has already added the unique suit to Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered on PC.
Barely even one day after the Invincible season finale, Twitter user reza825_, who is known for making suit mods for Spider-Man,tweeted that a surprise mod was on the way. Then, just a few hours later, they revealed that they’d somehow already madeanAgent Spider suit for Spider-Manthat looks exactly how it does in Invincible’s finale.
This isn’t the first time this week that a community has moved blisteringly fast to mod a character into a game,as Smiling Friends fans have already started adding Gwimbly into real-life games.
Spider-Man suit modders have already proven time and time again how skilled they are, but the Agent Spider mod is on another level, especially considering how fast it was made. It’s available to download on Nexus Mods right now, but reza825_ warns that you’ll need the “ASC’s Suit Adder Tool” or ‘Overstrike tool’ to install it.
