Destiny 2:The Final Shape introduces a host of updates and improvements to the Patrol experience, starting with the Pale Heart. If you’ve ever stepped into a Grandmaster Nightfall, you may recall the modifiers on the bottom of your screen before you begin.

Essentially, Traveler’s Blessings function like these modifiers, but only on one Destination on your Director: the Pale Heart. The benefits are also far more complex than standard GM modifiers, compounding your power. You can earn and use Traveler’s Blessings during your adventure on the Pale Heart, but you’ll need to play consistently to refresh your access to these buffs.

What Are Traveler’s Blessings?

Traveler’s Blessings are timed boons or modificationsthat aid you while you fight enemies and perform activities in the Pale Heart.

Like the buffs found in other activities, these Pale Heart-exclusive power boosts give you the tools toempower yourself while weakening your enemies.

You canaccess your Traveler’s Blessingsby going to thePale Heart on your director,then navigating to theTraveler’s Blessings nodedirectly above The Blooming area.

Traveler’s Blessings can be used for up to 27 hoursafter you acquire them, then you must re-acquire the Blessing in Patrol on the Pale Heart from the sources listed below.

Traveler’s Blessings come in two forms:

There areseven Pale Blessingsandeight Flickering Blessingsto earn.

You can only activate oneFlickering Blessingand onePale Blessingat a time, so choose wisely.

All Pale Blessings

All Pale Blessings buffs are granted temporarily after interaction with a Traveler’s Flower.

Effect

Traveler’s Animus

Defeating a combatant has a chance to create a random elemental pickup of Orb of Power.

Traveler’s Fervor

Sliding after sprinting for a short time sends forth a burning line of fire, dealing damage andscorchingtargets in its path.

Traveler’s Transference

Sprinting for a short time causes you to becomeamplified.While you areamplified,melee damage creates lightning bolts, damaging nearby combatants.

Traveler’s Diffraction

Defeating combatants with Void damage has a chance to create Void seekers that track nearby targets andsuppressthem.

Traveler’s Sublimation

Rapidly defeating combatants with Stasis weapons creates aStasis minethat damages andfreezesnearby combatants.

Traveler’s Proliferation

Defeating combatants with any source of Strand damage producesThreadlings. Defeating powerful combatants produces more Threadlings.

Traveler’s Multiplicity

Finisher final blows convert your next thrown grenade into a bonus fragmentation grenade.

Traveler’s Abundance

Defeating combatants with your grenade has a chance to spawn Special ammo. Defeating combatants with your Super ability has a chance to spawn Heavy ammo.

How To Get And Use Traveler’s Blessings

You canearn Traveler’s Blessings from the following sourcesin the Traveler’s Pale Heart:

After eachdaily reset,you will get aguaranteed Traveler’s Blessingfor completing aLost Sector, Cyst,orOverthrowactivity.

The activity that rewards a Blessing will bemarked on your map.

However,only expired Traveler’s Blessingscan be acquired from the guaranteed activity.

The major differencebetween Pale and Flickering Blessings ishow they are activated.

Once acquired,Flickering Blessingscan beapplied and activatedfrom the menu screen.

However,Pale Blessings can be applied via your menu,but you mustinteract with a Traveler’s Flowerto gain the temporary buff.

To interact with a Traveler’s Flower, you must first acquire a Luminescent Seed by completing every level of Overthrow.

Overthrow can be time-consuming but focus on completing objectives andcleansing corruption throughout the Travelerfor more progress.

Once you have a Luminescent Seed, look for one of the smallhand sculptureslittered around the Pale Heart andplant the seed there.

Once you have selected your Traveler’s Blessings and planted a Luminescent Seed, you will have every advantage needed to jump into more activities on the Pale Heart.
