There’s no clear marking inside the car for how to turn your headlights on (or the internal lights of the car), but don’t worry! We’ve broken down the two main ways you’re able to turn on lights so that you can see where you’re driving no matter what time it is.

How To Turn On Headlights Manually

When building your car, you’ll need toput headlights in. If you’re worried about forgetting how to turn on the headlights while driving or having issues in-game with the headlights, you canturn them on manually.

To do this,pick up the headlights and left-clickto turn them on and off. You can theninstall the activated headlightsinto your car and they will stay on all day long.

The headlightsdon’t consume any power or fuel, so you won’t have to worry about them going dark.

The only way they’ll turn off is if you do it yourself. You can rest easy knowing you have a bright road ahead of you.

How To Turn On Headlights While Driving

If you want to get more familiar with your new vehicle, you canturn on the lights insidethe car. Once youclimb into the driver’s seatafter installing the headlights, you can examine the dashboard.

To the right of the steering wheel is abutton you can presswhen you left-click your mouse. This toggles the headlights on, as well asthe overhead light. During the day, the overhead light isn’t noticeable, but once the sun goes down, it’s a comfort to have another light source.

You may need to press the button several times to get the lights to turn on.
