Weapons are a critical aspect of any hunter build inSolo Leveling: Arise. The true potential of any hunter can be enhanced severalfold, and their total battle power can be improved by thousands if you equip them with the right weapon. With over 45 weapons in the game, knowing which ones to choose and upgrade can be difficult.
Since every weapon has a rarity ranging from R to SSR, the resources required to upgrade or advance them vary. As a new player, upgrading weapons for your hunters can be overwhelming. So, here’s the right way to upgrade your weapons in Solo Leveling: Arise.

How To Level Up Weapons
Weapons in Solo Leveling: Arise are of two types, one of which can be equipped for hunters and the other for Sung Jinwoo. The weapon you equip to Sung Jinwoo heavily influences his fighting style.
For example, equipping adaggermakes his skills close combat-oriented, while having agunmakes him better at long distances.

Each weapon can be upgraded to a higher level and advanced up to ten times. In order to level up a weapon, you require a ‘Weapon Enhancement Gear.‘You can find these special items whenclearing gates and completing daily missions. After you level it up to the highest stats, you can ‘Limit Break’ the weapon.
Weapons that you can equip on Sung Jinwoo can alsohave their skills upgraded. This doesn’t apply to hunters because theweapon you equip on Sung Jinwoo influences the in-game skillshe can use during combat.
How To Limit Break Weapons In Solo Leveling: Arise
Like leveling up, limit breaking can only be done to a weapon once it’s been upgraded completely.Limit breaking costs for two rare items: ' Melding Cubes’ and ‘Designs.‘These items can be exchanged from the shop using’Traces of Dimension’ or acquired directly from clearing ‘Dungeon Break’ Gates.
Make sure that youonly limit break weapons that you plan on using in the long term. Limit breaking R-ranked weapons could be considered a waste since their feasibilityfalls off significantly once you reach the later stages of the game.

Similar to advancing hunters, weapons in Solo Leveling: Arise can also be advanced using duplicate copies of the weapon. The duplicate weapon is consumed, and the star rating of the original weapon is upgraded, along withincreased perks and buffs that come with the advancement.
Once your weapon has reached five stars, you may advance it five more times, which is known as ‘Dimensional Advancement’in Solo Leveling: Arise.
