TheCloak of Infinite Potentialis a back item only available during theMists of Pandaria remixevent. It is given to you during the event’s tutorial, and will stay with you until its end.
As you level and loot, it can be, as it suggests,infinitely upgraded to boost statssuch as stamina, strength, and even experience gain.
Additionally,a portion of the stats will be carried overto the cloak of anynew Timerunner characters created.
How To Upgrade The Cloak Of Infinite Potential
Variousthreadscan belooted from Cache’s of Infinite Potential, enemies, and raid and dungeon bosses. Once looted, they willautomatically be appliedto your cloak.
As you upgrade the cloak, you willunlock achievementsthat will not only strengthen the cloak of new characters, but you can eventuallyearn the fabled August Celestial Wing toys.
These will give theappearance of the old legendary cloaks, allowing you to don a liking of Niuzou, Yu’lon, Xuen, or Chi’ji.
The achievement’Infinite Power XII',requiring you to collect4,200 threads on a single character,will give you these toys.
