As you playCoral Island, you’ll come across the mer people who live under the sea. This underwater community is thriving – or at least they were a few years ago. As you help them flourish, you’ll learn more about the people and the culture. Eventually, you may earn your place among them!
Once you’re part of the community, you can help do your part by cultivating unique crops and caring for the creatures of the sea. It won’t be easy, but we’ll help you get started so you can live the life you want with the merfolk in Coral Island!

How To Unlock The Underwater Farm
Tounlock the underwater farm, you must progress within the main story. Not only do you need tounlock the Merfolk Kingdom, but you’ll need toheal the oceanand progress toTown Rank A.
Once you become a mermaid, you’ll have gained the trust of the merfolk, but that’s not enough to get the farm.

You’ll get aletter in the mailthe day after the ceremony forreaching Town Rank A, which directs you tospeak with His Majestyunder the sea toresupply the Merfolk Kingdom. You’ll be grantedaccess to the underwater farm, where you’ll unlock a variety ofnew crops, a new tool, and new quests.
You’ll also gain access toa new house and shipping bin, so you never need to return to the surface! If you choose to leave, however, there is afast travel pointby the front door.

How To Use The Underwater Farm
The underwater farm issimilar to your farm on land, but there are a few key differences. Most tools, likethe scythe and the hoe, will work the same. Here’s how to make the most of your new home!
How To Get Seeds
While you canbuy seeds at the general storein the Merfolk Kingdom, you may onlypurchase them after shipping 50of the desired crop. Otherwise, you’ll need touse the trio of flower pouchesby your home tomix materials into underwater seeds.
You’ll get multiple seeds every time you mix materials together!

How To Water Crops
Being underwater has its benefits, likenot needing to water your crops. However, they do need sunlight! When you unlock the underwater farm, you’ll be given a new tool:the Lumina Wand.
The Lumina Wandoperates as watering canunder the sea. You can improve it bycompleting the underwater orchestra sites! You’ll need to water your crops each day to help them thrive.
