Research centers require “Scientific Material,” which you find when scavenging abandoned buildings with a“book”icon; after researching the technology at a research center,you can unlock all kinds of important buildings, whether Medbay or the Arms Factory.
How to Unlock the Research Center in Infection Free Zone
When you first start playing, the research center is locked and cannot be built from the adapt menu. To unlock this building,you must go through the tutorial missionsuntil you get the mission to make an “Antenna.”
