InAnother Crab’s Treasure,you become Kril the hermit crab who’s on a mission to get his shell that was repossessed by the Duchess, who has recently conquered the land. Part of Kril’s journey involves him traveling to the Moon Caves to get something for the Duchess.

To travel to the Moon Caves, you’ll first have to do some errands that involve running all over the castle. Your first port of call is to speak with the Duchess to find out what she wants from you, so here’s what you need to know.

Meet With The Duchess And Get The Fishing Line For Her

The Duchess tells you that some guards are heading to the Moon Caves. She wants youto get something shiny for her from the Moon Cavesand then she’ll talk about deferring your taxes. Go backdown the hall and enter the room on the left.The guards will tell you that this room is a mess, and that’s hardly surprising as it’s filled with empty boxes and other assortments of trash.

Climb up the cigarette butts and across the green neton the wall that’s hung over the doorway.Jump to the next tower of boxes. By now, you should see ahouse of cardswith a glowing objecton the top of them.

Jump onto the house of cardsand it will collapse. The object you find here is theFishing Lineyou’ll need for the rest of the journey.

If you use the Fishing Line to grab the fish hook, use the fishing line again to grab a small net hanging over a small platform really high up. You’ll be able to grab the Barnacle stowaway.

Use the Fishing Line to leave the room.Go to the room across the hall filled with sea urchins.Use the fish hooks and nets tovault over the urchins.

Walk up the stairsto where you’ll find another member of the guard.

Kril uses Umami to defeat a glowing pink crab in Another Crab’s Treasure.

A large urchin rolling down the stairs will hit you. You can dodge it by ducking behind one of the pillars.

Once you reach the top, speak to the guard there. Next,interact with the small fishing rod next to him.Before you grapple towards the next part of the journey,take the Bottle Cap shellnext to the platform.

Use the Fishing Line tograpple onto the rusted pipe.You’ll be using your Fishing Line tograpple from platform to platformthroughout this part. You’ll encounter some enemy crabs on the way, as well as these dark blobs of sludge.

You need to avoid the sludge because it will poison you.

When you step in the sludge, a poison meter will pop up on the screen. This meter measures how poisoned you are. If it reaches max, you die.

Take your time here, the game will try to trick you and make you fall.

Beware The False Edge In The Rusted Pipes

There’s a lip in the pipe near the end that’s angled upwards.You can’t see itwhen you’re walking up to it, but there’sa huge gap in the pipe there.If you aren’t careful, you’ll fall and have to start over again, so you’ll need tostop before you get to it.

Stopping at this lip has another advantage. Next to the lip is theTin Can shell.You’ll need to pick it up for when you enter the Moon Caves.

Talk To The Ghostly Figure

Once you’ve cleared the rusted pipes, you’ll find yourself in the company of aghostly figure.Speak with them andyou’ll unlock Umami Shell Spells.

Umami is magic thatgrants Kril certain abilitiesbased on which shell he’s wearing,including the ability to fight certain enemies who can only be harmed by Umami. Using Umami, you’ll be able to enchant your weapon and unlock new abilities.

The ghostly figure will make youfight a glowing pink crabusing Umami.

The easiest way to defeat it ishide in the Tin Can shell and wait for it to attack you.

When it does,it will deal damage to itself.After a couple swipes with your rusted fork, you’ll have won.

Once you’ve harnessed the powers of Umami, you’ll have finally reached the Moon Caves.
