Remnant 2offers a variety of archetypes, essentially serving as your character class, each with its own unique set of skills and abilities. Every archetype has its own gameplay style, strengths, and weaknesses, allowing you to customize your playstyle as you journey through different worlds, battling enemies and surviving the challenges of the game.
In the first DLC, The Awakened King, a new archetype called the Ritualist was introduced. Now, with the release of The Forgotten Kingdom DLC, another new archetype called the Invoker has been added to expand the roster of available classes. However, the game doesn’t provide explicit instructions on how to unlock them. That’s where this guide comes in handy.
How To Unlock The Invoker Archetype
As you progress through the main story of the Forgotten Kingdom DLC, you’ll eventually reacha point in the Ancient Canopy where you need to interact with a lever to drop down a spiral staircase.
After doing so,backtrack a bit and take the entrance to the right, then use the elevator to descend.
Once you’re down, open the door ahead andproceed forward to the spiral staircase, making your way down. Eventually, you’ll come acrossa ladder to the left. Descend using it, and you’ll encounter two more ladders along the way;use them to reach the very bottom floor.
Immediately after reaching the bottom floor,turn right and you’ll find a narrow path. Circle around it to finda door to your left. Inside, you’ll entera sandy area with arrows shooting at you. This is where things get tricky. Your goal is to navigateto the far right corner of this roomwhile avoiding the arrows.
As you traverse, you’ll come across an armor set in front of you;the Disciple Set. Grab it while you’re there.
Once you’ve made it to the far right corner, you’ll noticetwo piles of sand. Stand still at one of them andlisten for a sound cue to indicate that you’re in the correct spot. Now, here’s the peculiar part:put your controller down and wait for about five minutes;yes, you read that right.
As you wait,you’ll observe your character slowly sinking into the sand.
After a brief “death animation,” you’ll awaken in a secret room. Here, you’ll find theOld Flute material, which is the necessary item to unlock the Invoker archetype.
Like with all archetypes,return to Wallace at Ward 13and use the item you obtained tocraft the Spirit Flute Engram.Equip this Engram, and you’re all set to enjoy the brand-newInvoker archetype.
