WithFinal Fantasy 14’s Dawntrail expansion comes a host of new areas to explore and enemies and monsters to defeat, and you know what that means… more hunts! Of course, if you want to get the full reward for killing any Hunt Marks you come across, you first need to unlock The Hunt for these areas.
So before you start beating down the local baddies, let’s ensure you’re earning the hard-earned currency and EXP for doing so first. Here’s how and where to unlock Dawn Hunts for Dawntrail.

Where To Find The ‘A New Dawn, A New Hunt’ Sidequest
Much like theSightseeing Log for Dawntrail, you must first have progressed through the Main Scenario Quest enough to have completedThe Rite of Succession’in order for this quest to appear.
Once you’ve progressed through the story past the fifth Dawntrail MSQ, you may accept the’A New Dawn, A New Hunt’Sidequest by speaking with theWing of Protection Scoutat(X:11.9, Y:13.7)inTulliyollal.
Next, speak withBol Ogawat(X:13.8, Y:13.7)inTulliyollalto hand in the quest and unlock Dawn Hunts.
How To Accept And Complete Dawn Hunts
Interact with theHunt BoardinTuliyollalat(X:13.8, Y:13.6)to accept hunt mark bills.
Each bill will show you the monster you are required to defeat, where it can be found, and the gil, EXP, and Sacks of Nuts reward you will receive for completing each bill.
At first, you will only have access to Beginner Dawn Hunt mark bills from the board. As you progress through the MSQ, you can speak with Bol Ogaw again to take on further quests and unlock additional hunt bills.
How To Unlock Intermediate Dawn Hunts
To unlock the next tier of Hunt marks, you need to complete the Level 94 quest’Why We Hunt’given byBol Ogawat(X:13.8, Y:13.7)inTulliyollal.
In addition to being Level 94 in order to accept this quest, you must also have progressed through the Main Scenario Quest to the point of completing ‘The Leap to Yak’Tel’.
After speaking with Bol Ogaw, he’ll direct you to speak withTy’at Qatat(X:11.5, Y:15.2)inTuliyollal.Afterwards, return toBol Ogawat(X:13.8, Y:13.7)to complete the quest.
Another new quest and Advanced Dawn Hunt mark bills become available at Level 99.
How To Unlock Advanced Dawn Hunts
For the next tier of Dawn Hunts, you need to complete the Level 99 quest ‘Hunting the Hunter’ fromBol Ogawat(X:13.8, Y:13.7)inTulliyollal.
Much like the previous quest, simply being at the right level isn’t enough, you must have progressed through the Main Scenario Quest to the point of completing ‘Through the Gate of Gold’.
Next, head toHeritage Found(you’ll want The Outskirts Aetheryte) and speak toZomenikeat(X:16.9, Y:9.4).
Your next destination isSolution Nine,where you’ll want to speak withFilomenaat(X:11.0, Y:4.9), before heading to(X:4.3, Y:16.4)and speaking withNapikwe.
Return toBol Ogawat(X:13.8, Y:13.7)inTulliyollalto complete the quest and unlock Advanced Dawn Hunts.
The next quest becomes available at Level 100.
How To Unlock Elite Dawn Hunts
After completing the Main Scenario Quest ‘Dawntrail’, you’re able to speak toBol Ogawat(X:13.8, Y:13.7)inTulliyollalto accept the Level 100 quest’The Hunt Goes On'.
Head toSolution Nineand speak withNapikweat(X:4.3, Y:16.4).After, return toBol Ogawat(X:13.8, Y:13.7)inTulliyollalto complete the quest and unlock Elite Dawn Hunts.
Once you have unlocked Edite Dawn Hunts, there will be a wider range of items available from the Dawn Hunt Vendor.
Where To Spend Sacks Of Nuts
You can speak withRyubool Ja, the Dawn Hunt Vendor, at(X:13.9, Y:13.5)inTuliyollalto exchange your Sacks of Nuts for rewards.
