The Grenade Pistol is exactly what it sounds like. It is a handgun that loads a grenade and fires it on a target. This is a portable mortar that fires a single explosive round, capable of doing greater damage than regular grenades.
How To Get The GP-31 Grenade Pistol
To unlock theGP-31 Grenade Pistol, you mustbuy the Democratic Detonation Warbond for1,000 Super Creditsand purchase this weapon for60 Warbond Medals.
Similar to theCB-9 Exploding Crossbow, the GP-31 Grenade Pistolis also available on page three of the Premium Warbond. To purchase items on the last page, you must first spend a lot of Medals on the first two pages.
How To Use The GP-31 Grenade Pistol
The GP-31 Grenade Pistol isa secondary weapon that features 600 damage, which is even higher than most explosive grenades in the game. Thegun has 43 Recoil, andit matters little since the weaponfires one round and requires reloading to shootthe second one.
Like most grenades, theGrenade Pistol’s explosive shot deals splash explosive damage. Firing this on an approachingswarm of bugs will result in multiple fatalities. Warriors, Hunters, and even the armored Warriors will be killed easily in one shot from Grenade Pistol.
You candefeat a Chargerusing a Grenade Pistolby firing multiple rounds at its exposed back. The gun will not kill this foe easily, but at least it gets the job done sooner or later.
On the other hand,defeating Bile Titanis impossible using the Grenade Pistol. However, you may damage its acid sack on the back, leaving it without any acid to spew at your teammates.
The Grenade Pistol gives you the versatility to carry explosive ranged firepowerin your pocket while not taking away the option of equipping another throwable, such as a stun,G-10 Incendiary, orG-3 smoke grenade. Before this gun, you had to pick one grenade type.
However, you may nowuse a Grenade Pistol for specialized objectives such as plugging bug holes or destroying Automaton Fabricators. At the same time, you canuse any other type of grenade in tandemto unleash maximum firepower while spreading managed democracy.
