But theDivination Parloris a sterling example of form and function at their respective peaks. Recruiting the spirit medium B’baba means learning vital hints toward further recruitment.
Of course, if you’re following our guides coverage for Eiyuden Chronicle, you should have no difficulty getting every character even without B’baba’s help. But you’ll want to fill in the Divination Parlor node regardless, and gaining access to B’baba’s unique abilities lets you learn cool stuff about your friends, too.
How To Begin The B’baba Recruitment Quest
Before you’re able to recruit B’baba in earnest, you’ll need tofind Faye at the castle, beginningherrecruitment questin the process. It’s an interesting situation;you’ll get B’baba prior to Faye joining, but you’ll be unable to get B’baba without Faye’s first scene.
To find Faye, you will either need toreach the Euchrisse region on the world maporconclude the battle for Hishahnat the climax of Euchrisse’s main quest.

When the sceneisready to trigger, the fastest way to reach theprecise locationwhere the scene with Faye triggers is toteleport to the hot springs warp stone. Then,ascend the stairs just to your east.
Recruiting B’baba And Opening The Divination Parlor
Now, watch the scene that unfolds involving the mayhem left in the wake of our resident little thief. When the scene’s over,teleport to Daphan Village in Euchrisse. Enter the houseto the northwest, speak with B’baba, andshe’ll join up!
But the Divination Parlor will require you tofill in a node at the Drafting Studio. Mercifully,the node requires a paltry sum of Headquarters Funds, and… that’s it. You’ll find itone south directly from the castle upgrade node… just in case that info actually helps!
With the Divination Parlor open,you can now divine (Descry Location) all sorts of potential allies for a 300 baqua sum. Doing so grants you ahelpful hint on where - and sometimes how - to recruit characters.
You can alsounlock up to three interesting lore pages (Descry Background)for every recruited character.
