Tips For Completing The Challenge Log
Completing Challenge Log objectives each week is a great way to bring in some extra EXP and gil, especially for new players. For the most part, you will complete a lot of these objectivesthrough normal play.
Doing yourdaily RoulettesandTribal Quests, maybe some gathering or crafting here and there, and spending some time in the Gold Saucer will knock off the majority of the Log’s objectives.
However, if you’re keen on squeezing the Log for every bit of Gil it’s worth, you’ll need toplan your weeks much more diligently. Some objectives, like openingTreasure Coffersin Map Dungeons, enteringChocobo Races, or battling inPvPwill require you to participate in content you may not normally do.
Challenge Log rewards are by no means essential, so you should really onlyfocus on ones that align with your current in-game goals. If you’releveling your Craftersand Gatherers, you’ll definitely want to complete the objectives in those respective sections.
Likewise, if you’re saving up your MGP for one of the expensive mounts, it’s probably a good idea to play someLord of VerminionorTriple Triad, even if you don’t normally.
You can earn anextra 95,000 MGP per weekby competing every Gold Saucer-related Challenge Log objective.
Ultimately, the rewards in the Challenge Log are not limited, and can beearned from many other activities in the game. Our advice is tonot focus too heavily on completing your ChallengeLogeach week, as this can lead to burnout. The rewards will come over time!
