What Are Golden Fishing Treasure Chests?

Golden Fishing Treasure Chestsare anupgraded versionof the regular ones you canobtain randomlywhile fishing.

Like regular Fishing Treasure Chests, you canfind Golden Fishing Treasure Chests as you fish. These chests will show up randomly on your fishing screen. To collect the chest, you musthover over itwith your fishing bar for as long as it takes tofill the progress barunderneath the chest icon.

Once you have filled the progress bar, you still need tosuccessfully catch the fishto open the chest.

If youlose the fishon your line, youwill not collectthe Golden Fishing Treasure Chest. you’re able to only open chests you have earned when you havesuccessfully caughtthe fish on your line.

Once you have completed full Fishing Mastery, you will have asmall chanceto find Golden Fishing Treasure Chests as you fish.

How To Unlock And Open The Mastery Cave

Opening the Mastery Cave requires a lot of hard work and dedication. You won’t just need to have reachedlevel ten in your Fishing Skillto unlock Golden Fishing Treasure Chests, but level ten inevery skill.

The first step to unlocking the Mastery Cave is toreach level ten in everyone of yourfive skills. You cancheck your skill progressin theSkills tabof your player inventory. The Skills tab is indicated by theimage of your player’s head. This is the second tab in your player journal.

As you explore, you will naturally improve your skills. Some skills will level faster than others,depending on what tasks you prioritizein your playthrough. After filling all five skill bars, head down to thesoutheastern quadrant of Cindersap Forest. This is the area where you can find theSewer Entranceand whereSpring Onionsspawn in spring. Here, you will find thedoor to the Mastery Cave.The door will only unlock whenallof your skill bars arecomplete.

How To Complete Fishing Mastery

Withallfive of your skill barsfilled to the tenth level,any experience you earn will now pool into one collective pot. This collective pot is theMastery Bar.Filling the Mastery Bar to certain level milestones willreward youwith newMastery Skills.

you may unlock yourfirst Mastery Altarafter earning10,000 Mastery Pointsin your skill bar. If you want to be able to find Golden Fishing Treasure Chests as you fish, you need tounlock the Fishing Mastery Altar. Theearliestyou can do this is after collecting yourfirst 10,000 Mastery Points.
