Destiny 2: The Final Shapemarks the end of the Light and Darkness saga. Guardians have wielded both sides of the paracasual coin with equal mastery, and now that they’ve entered the Pale Heart of the Traveler, they’ve found a way to bridge the gap between the Light and Dark.
Through Prismatic, Guardians can mix and match abilities fromanysubclass to create the ultimate build. Needless to say, Prismatic is the ultimate buildcrafting subclass. But unlocking this subclass and understanding how it works can prove tricky. In this guide, we will cover what Prismatic is, how to unlock it, and give an in-depth breakdown of every single ability, Aspect, and Fragment available.

Updated June 11, 2025, by Charles Burgar:Prismatic saw some small changes due to some sandbox adjustments to Arc and Stasis in recent seasons. We’ve updated this guide to include all information pertaining to Bolt Charge and recent updates to Frost Armor.
What Is Prismatic?
Prismatic is Destiny 2’s sixth subclass that acts as an amalgamation of all previous subclasses. With Prismatic, you can take elements from every other subclass and merge them into one cohesive build. It is the closest thing Destiny 2 has to multiclassing. As such, the barrier to entry is far greater for Prismatic than any other subclass, but the power ceiling is significantly higher.
This subclass is intended for advanced buildcrafters.Newer players might be better off following a build guide or using a different subclass entirely.

There are drawbacks to Prismatic, however. The most notable restriction is what’snotincluded. One Aspect, Super, and core ability are taken from each subclass. For example, Prismatic Warlocks use Song of Flame as their Solar Super of choice, notWell of RadianceorDaybreak. This keeps the subclass somewhat in check and prevents Prismatic from eclipsing every single build in the game.
To help create synergies, Prismatic has a wide selection of unique Fragments to choose from, and most Aspects were altered to remove any element-specific restrictions.Bleak Watcherturrets can be made withanygrenade,Stylish Executionercan be triggered offanydebuff, et cetera.

Create a build with equal access to Light and Dark, and you’ll be rewarded with unique synergies and the ability toTranscend, a sort of mini-Super that drastically lowers your ability cooldowns.
How To Unlock Prismatic
You must own The Final Shape expansion to use Prismatic.
Prismatic is unlocked in theFinal Shape campaign and post-campaign offerings. The subclass itself is unlocked partway through the “Transmigration” campaign mission. A basic build is provided for you immediately, but if you want to heavily customize Prismatic, you’ll need to complete certain activities after the campaign.
Prismatic Aspects and abilitiesare unlocked through the “Found in the Dark” and “Found in the Light” post-campaign quests. Speak with your Ghost upon finishing the campaign and progress their starter quest to unlock both quest chains. You’ll need to complete both quests for each of your characters.

Prismatic Fragmentsare unlocked through exploration and hidden challenges. The campaign will give you a few Fragments by default, but you’ll need to find the rest. You can find every unlock condition in ourPrismatic Fragment locations guide. Fortunately, Prismatic Fragments are account-bound. Once you find a Fragment, it’s unlocked for all three of your characters.
Prismatic Keywords Explained
Prismatic shares the same keywords as all previous subclasses—Arc, Solar, Void, Stasis, and Strand. We will list the general keyword names below, but if you’d like to learn more about each keyword, consult our subclass 3.0 guides:
Unravel
Transcendence Explained
Transcendence is effectively a second, weaker Super that Prismatic classes gain access to.By dealing Light and Dark damage, you build up a Transcendence meter under your Super bar. When both the Light and Dark meters are full, you can enter Transcendence.
While you are in Transcendence, your abilities recharge significantly faster, you gain 20% damage resistance, deal 5% more damage with all weapons, and gain a new grenade type. This grenade varies depending on your class:

Transcendence will slowly decay once it’s activated, but you canextend Transcendence by defeating enemies. There are diminishing returns here, but you may remain in this state for 30 seconds or more with ease. Once Transcendence ends, both your Light and Dark gauges will be empty and must be refilled. Dealing Light damage (Arc, Solar, and Void) fills the left gauge, while Dark damage (Stasis and Strand) fills the right.
Kinetic weapons fill your Light and Dark meters simultaneously.

Exotic Class Items Explained
All Prismatic classes have access to a uniqueExotic class item, which can be obtained upon completing the “Dual Destiny” mission. The Exotic class item featurestwo random perks from other Exotics, including perks that aren’t on your native class. For example, the Hunter’s Exotic class item, Relativism, can drop withOphidian AspectandSynthoceps, two Exotics tied to other classes.
Each class item has64 unique combinations, made up of 16 perk options. To ensure that class items aren’t completely broken, each Exotic perk has been reworked or slightly nerfedcompared to the standard version.Osmiomancy Glovesnow work with any grenade, for instance, but no longer grant a second grenade charge.

All potential perk combinations can be found below. As for which rolls are worth chasing, check out our guide onExotic class item roll recommendations.
Youcannotwear an Exotic armor piece and an Exotic class item at the same time.

Inflicts 5 Scorch per nanite (40 total)
Properties
Spawns 9 nanites with tracking capabilities
Swarm Grenades detonate into nine projectiles on impact, covering a spherical area for their duration. Enemies that get near the Swarm Grenade will cause the nanites to track them aggressively, dealing a small amount of damage. Enemies hit by a nanite receive x5 Scorch stacks. Thiscannotbe increased with Prismatic since this subclass doesn’t have Ember of Ashes or anything similar.
1:45
Sweeps the area before striking targets with lightning
Arcbolt grenades sweep a 360-degree area, zapping tagged enemies with a strike of lightning. The damage is mediocre on its own, but it can easily apply Jolt onto targets through Facet of Dominance.
Sticks to targets; explodes twice
Throw a grenade with intense magnetism that explodes twice in short succession. Magnetic Grenades can be enhanced through Facet of Dominance, allowing your grenade to inflict Weaken. If you want even stronger tracking, equip Fastball on your gloves.
PvE:Inflicts 20 Slow on impact, 10 per second
PvP:Inflicts 10 Slow on impact, 5 per second
Slows targets caught in the area
This grenade morphs into a frozen sphere on impact, immediately inflicting Slow on anything within the blast radius. Enemies within the dome will continuously receive Slow stacks until they are either Frozen or exit the dome. The Duskfield lasts for roughly six seconds.
You can enhance your Duskfield Grenades through theRenewal GraspsExotic. This will increase the radius of your Duskfield Grenade, grant allies Frost Armor each second while inside the dome, and debuff affected enemies with 50% reduced damage output (reduced to 10% in PvP).
1:22
Creates a grapple point and propels you forward; execute a grapple melee during use.
Create a grappling point on your cursor and pull yourself forward, greatly increasing your Guardian’s momentum. You can strafe to the side to redirect your momentum, or you can cancel the grapple by pressing your grenade key or by jumping.
After grappling for roughly one second, you will be able to use aGrapple Melee. This is a melee attack that deals substantially more damage than a typical melee attack, capable of one-hitting red bars in most content. Using the melee kills all grapple momentum, so it can double as an air brake. Grapple meleeisbuffed by melee bonuses like One-Two Punch andSynthoceps, but it doesnotbenefit from Combination Blow.
2:01
Pulses Arc lightning every 0.75 seconds
Create a pool of explosive energy that continuously pulses every 0.75 seconds, pulsing a total of five times before it expires. If you have Facet of Dominance equipped, each pulse can inflict Jolt onto targets, making this an excellent source of Light Transcendence energy.
Inflicts 10 Scorch per pulse
Pulses 4 times, damaging targets in a line
After the grenade makes contact with a flat surface, the Thermite Grenade will create a fissure of flame that pulses four times, dealing heavy damage with each wave. Enemies are lightly Scorched as well. It’s not enough to trigger an Ignition, but this is useful for building Light Transcendence energy.
Inflicts Suppression
Throw a bouncing grenade that detonates in a small radius, debuffing all hit targets with Suppression.you’re able to Suppress yourself with the explosion, so be careful. Suppressed targets cannot use abilities, and PvE enemies struggle to aim. With Echo of Dominance, the explosion will also inflict Weaken.
PvE:Freezes combatants on creation
PvP:Inflicts 60 Slow on creation
Creates a wall of Stasis Crystals which can be shattered
Throw a grenade that forms five Stasis crystals in a line perpendicular to your character. These crystals are physical objects, so you can stand on them or use them as makeshift cover. If the crystals receive enough damage, they’ll explode and deal moderate damage over a wide area, increased with Facet of Ruin.
You can throw a Glacier Grenade on a wall to create makeshift platforms, perfect for making off-angles in PvP.
2:32
Suspends targets caught in the blast radius
This grenade is a Strand-infused bola that Suspends enemies caught in the blast radius. This is great for stunning Champions, locking down a tight group of adds in PvE, or shutting down a PvP Super.
Releases a series of lightning bolts on impact
Shortly after impact, the grenade will release a series of lightning bolts that deal moderate damage. With Echo of Dominance, each lightning strike inflicts Jolt.
With Getaway Artist equipped, consuming your Lightning Grenade will form an Arc Soul. This can also proc Bleak Watcher.
Grants x2 Cure, pickup grants x1 Restoration
Grants Cure on impact, Restoration when grabbed
This grenade manifests a healing orb that grants x2 Cure on impact. Allies who grab the orb will gain x1 Restoration for a short duration. You and all nearby allies can pick up the Healing Grenade, similar to how Orbs of Power work. The grenade itself deals no damage, although it can build Light Transcendence energy if you buff allies.
4 seconds
When created, pulls nearby foes toward the grenade’s epicenter
Shortly after impact, the grenade will pull in all nearby targets and form a vortex, constantly dealing damage to enemies caught within. Enemy Guardians can easily strafe out of the grenade, but PvE enemies will typically stay inside the AoE for the grenade’s duration. With Echo of Dominance, the Vortex Grenade can also inflict Weaken with each hit.
Immediately freezes targets
Freezes enemies on contact, chaining up to 3 times
Coldsnap Grenades stick to the floor on contact, rapidly moving towards grounded targets. This grenade chains up to three times before it disappears. Alternatively, the grenade can expire if it fails to find an enemy.
Creates 3 Threadlings that seek out targets
Threadling Grenades create three Threadlings on impact or shortly after traveling midair. Each Threadling will aggressively track targets and detonate, dealing moderate damage in a small area. If you have Needlestorm equipped as your Super, any spare Threadlings will perch onto your character. You can have up to six perched Threadlings at a time.
0:40
Heal and gain increased melee damage with each kill
Infuse your fist with Arc energy and punch the target. Your melee charge is only consumed if you land a final blow, at which point you’ll earn a stack of Combination Blow, lasting 20 seconds. Each stack of Combination Blow increases your melee damage by 60%, stacking up to three times. This stacks multiplicatively on itself, so you actuallydeal up to 410% more damage at max stacks.
Combination Blow doesnotbuff the damage of your Grapple melee, Super melee attacks, Glaives, or Swords.
Since Prismatic doesn’t have access to Arcstrider’s Lethal Current Aspect, you’ll need to get creative if you want to give your punches some form of AoE damage. One good strategy is to useWinter’s Shroudto freeze enemies with two dodges, allowing you to shatter them for massive damage. you may also useAspect of Calibanon the Exotic class item to make each Combination Blow kill trigger an Ignition.
Inflicts 20 Scorch per knife (60 total)
Throws 3 burning knives
Release three burning knives in a horizontal spread, each dealing 20 Scorch damage. Each knife deals solid damage and can deal precision damage, making it a great option for killing red bar enemies in PvE. Since Prismatic lacks Knock ‘Em Down, you’ll need to rely on Gambler’s Dodge or raw ability regeneration to spam Knife Trick.
1:30
Weaken:5 seconds
Sticks to surfaces and pings enemy radar, inflicts Weaken on detonation
Snare Bomb is a small device that will detonate if any enemies approach. The device constantly pings the enemy’s radar in PvP, ideal for flanking strategies. Once an enemy gets near the device, it will detonate and release a large plume of smoke. Anything caught inside takes an escalating amount of damage-over-time and is debuffed with Weaken for five seconds. Enemy players also have their HUD scrambled temporarily.
1:40
PvE:Inflicts 60 Slow on hit
PvP:Inflicts 40 Slow on hit
Ricochets on impact; has 2 charges
Throw an ice shuriken at your foe, chaining between four targets before it disappears. The shuriken doesn’t have much initial tracking, but once it hits an enemy, it will aggressively track nearby enemies. Each hit from Withering Blade inflicts x60 Slow (reduced to 40 in PvP). This allows you tofreeze an enemy with two Withering Blades, which is convenient sinceWithering Blade has two charges.
Ricochets on impact and Severs targets; can be grabbed on recall to refund melee energy
Threaded Spike is a rope dart that will seek out nearby enemies, damaging every enemy it can find in its path. Similar to Withering Blade, Threaded Spike has aggressive tracking once it makes contact with an enemy, so make the first hit count. Each enemy struck is also Severed, reducing their damage output for a brief duration.
Once the rope dart is finished damaging enemies, it’ll return to your location and make a loud whistling sound. If you press melee right as your Threaded Spike returns, it’ll restore a massive amount of melee energybased on how many foes were hit. Failing to catch the dart will still return melee energy, just not as much. It’s possible to fully refund your Threaded Spike charge if it hits enough targets, so don’t be afraid to use it.
Hold the melee key to increase the damage and AoE
Plant your feet and begin to charge your fist, increasing Thunderclap’s damage the longer you hold the melee button. When you let go of your melee key, you will release a violent lightning strike at all targets in front of you, dealing massive damage to anyone caught in the blast radius. This can be further empowered with the Point Contact Brace Exotic.
1:41
Inflicts 40 Scorch on impact
Slain targets Ignite
After sprinting for a short duration, pressing the melee key will lunge your character forward and strike any target in your path with the Hammer of Sol, dealing massive damage while inflicting x40 Scorch. If the target dies from this ability, they’ll Ignite instead, creating a massive explosion at their corpse. You can further enhance the Ignition with Facet of Ruin.
Ricochets off surfaces and targets, restores Void Overshields on hit
Throw your Sentinel Shield at the enemy, ricocheting off hard surfaces and between foes. Each target struck restores a small amount of Void Overshields, making this a great way to gain Overshields in an add-dense situation.
1:54
Inflicts 50 Slow on hit
Release to lunge forward, inflicting major knockback
Encase your fist in ice and lunge forward, launching anything that’s unfortunate enough to get in your way. Shiver Stirke has far more momentum than a traditional shoulder charge, making this a solid movement tool. It inflicts major knockback and x50 Slow on hit.
Unlike other shoulder charge abilities, Shiver Strike consumes your melee charge on use, even if you don’t hit an enemy.
Severs targets; has 3 charges
Frenzied Blade is a close-range attack that slashes at the closest target, inflicting major damage and Sever. This attack covers a wide cone in front of your Titan, making it a great option for killing a small group of adds. Subsequent casts of the skill will occur near instantly. Try to debuff a boss with Weaken or Jolt before casting all Frenzied Blade stacks to maximize your damage.
This ability regenerates incredibly fast while Transcendent. Use your Electrified Snare to trap enemies, then use Frenzied Blade for an easy cleanup.
Jolts targets and chains lighting between targets, enhanced while Amplified
Chain Lightning is a close-range melee attack that Jolts the target and releases chain lightning to nearby foes. If you’re Amplified, Chain Lightning will release another set of chain lightning. Only the initial target you hit will be Jolted.
1:23
Inflicts 20 Scorch per projectile (100 total)
Releases five short-ranged projectiles that Scorch targets
Snap your fingers and create five flaming projectiles, each with aggressive tracking. This ability has limited range and should be used like a punch ability. However, each projectile inflicts 20 Scorch if the target is hit by either the projectile or the subsequent explosion. If all five projectiles hit the target, they’ll Ignite. you’re able to improve the Ignition with Facet of Ruin.
Has aggressive tracking, knocks back targets, and inflicts Volatile on impact
Hurl a Void orb at the target that detonates on impact, launching the target in the air with major knockback. Stuck targets are also Volatile, exploding if you deal additional damage to them. Pocket Singularity will curve around corners and other objects to strike targets, making this a great tool for flushing Guardians out of cover in PvP.
Freezes targets on impact
Manifest a Stasis staff and fire a single ice projectile, instantly Freezing anything it comes in contact with. You can follow this up with a melee attack for an easy shatter. The projectile is fairly slow and has minimal tracking, so aim this projectile carefully.
Unravels targets; has 3 charges
Arcane Needle aggressively tracks a target near your crosshair and infects them with Unravel projectiles. Damaging the target further will cause the Unravel projectiles to spread, infecting new targets while refreshing the debuff’s duration. You getthree charges of Arcane Needle, making it an excellent choice for building Dark Transcendence energy or spamming Lightning Surge.
8:20
Throw a dagger and teleport to it, damaging nearby enemies. Has three charges.
Throw out an electrified knife and teleport to its location, slashing nearby foes in a 360-degree arc. You can cast this Super up to three times, similar to how Moebius Quiver works on Nightstalker. Your Super bar does drain the second you cast your Super, so you’ll need to use the remaining charges as quickly as possible.
9:16
Rounds:3 shots
140 RPM, headshots spawn Orbs of Power and buff damage
Wield a flaming version of Hawkmoon with three shots. Each round from Marksman Golden Gun can deal precision damage, increasing the damage of your next Golden Gun shot per headshot. Each headshot also spawns two Orbs of Power for your allies. This Super lasts ten seconds or until you run out of ammo.
you may further scale Golden Gun’s damage with Star-Eater Scales or Celestial Nighthawk. Star-Eater Scales grants up to a 60% damage boost, while Celestial Nighthawk converts Golden Gun into a Super with a single bullet, dealing drastically more damage.
One And Done
7:35
Tether Duration
12 seconds base, +0.5s per tethered enemy killed (up to 18s)
Nearby foes are tethered, inflicting Suppression and Weaken. Tethered foes share damage taken.
Shadowshot: Deadfall fires a single Void arrow that creates an anchor point on impact. Once an enemy gets near, the arrow will activate and tether onto every nearby foe. Enemies tethered by Shadowshot receive 30% more damage (50% in PvP), are Suppressed, and share 50% of all incoming damage with other tethered enemies. It lasts for 12 seconds by default, although you may partially extend this by killing tethered enemies.
Inflicts 200 Slow per second inside the Stasis storm
Freeze targets before creating a roaming Stasis storm
Create two ice kamas and throw them at your enemies. The first kama freezes enemies in place, while the second one violently shatters into an ice storm. This storm will aggressively track nearby targets over the next 14 seconds, inflicting constant Slow with each damage tick. With the buffs to Shatter damage in Final Shape, this is a great Super for general play and lengthy DPS phases in endgame PvE content.
Silence and Squall will constantly refresh Echo of Command’s auto-loading effect, allowing you to bypass reloading entirely while this Super is active.
Light attacks deal damage from a distance, heavy attack commits to a wide AoE spin attack
Silkstrike is a roaming Super that acts as a hybrid between Arc Staff and Storm’s Edge. You gain massively increased agility, the Grapple grenade, and a rope dart weapon during this Super. Silkstrike deals excellent single-target damage for its class, outweighting most roaming Supers for total DPS. With that said, it’s incredibly squishy in PvP and should be used with care. In PvE, you may mitigate this with Echo of Blessing, triggering HP regeneration with every kill.
Become a missile that explodes on impact, creating a pulsating aftershock
Your Titan turns into a living missile, crashing into the earth with such force that it creates a major Arc explosion. Despite the impressive visuals, Thundercrash’s damage is lackluster without the Cuirass of the Falling Star Exotic. Even then, it’s still a subpar option compared to most meta DPS Supers. For PvP, it’s a solid option for shutting down enemy players.
Hammers can be thrown, exploding on impact
Wield a flaming hammer that violently explodes as you throw it towards nearby foes. For Prismatic specifically, since you don’t have access to Sunspots, Hammer of Sol will explode into a shower of shrapnel projectiles when it impacts a surface, dealing immense AoE damage. The further the hammer travels, the more shrapnel the detonation will spawn. Try to stay back when using Hammer of Sol to maximize its damage.
Conjure and throw three battle axes, inflicting Weaken on impact. You can pick up the axes and use them as weapons.
Axes have 10 charges and last 15 seconds. Heavy attacks throw the axe, depleting all remaining ammo.
Your Titan will spawn three battle axes and throw them back-to-back at foes, dealing sizable damage (better than Thundercrash) while inflicting a 15% Weaken debuff. Unlike most Supers, the axes linger on the battlefield for 15 seconds.you’re able to pick up these axes and use them as melee weapons.
Each axe has ten ammo, inflicts Weaken on hit, and can be thrown via the heavy attack key, consuming all remaining ammo. The damage of the heavy attack is quite high but doesnotscale with the ammo lost, so attempt to use the heavy attack last.
Light attack shoulder charges an enemy, heavy attack creates Stasis Crystals
Glacial Quake is a roaming Super that gives you the Shiver Strike attack by default. Using your heavy attack will spawn a cluster of Stasis crystals in a frontal cone, which can easily be shattered by sliding into them. This Super is all about dealing shatter damage, so be sure to equip the Facet of Ruin Fragment if you plan on using it.
Chain infinite light attacks, heavy attack suspends targets
Bladefury gives you a spammable version of the Frenzied Blade melee for a short duration. If the target isn’t up close, you’re able to use your heavy attack to launch a suspending wave their way. This Super deals immense damage if you can buff your melee damage through an Exotic like Synthoceps.
Release chain lightning from your fingertips, teleport with your heavy attack
Casting this Super will create an Arc shockwave under you, releasing a wave of Arc fissures that run along the ground, dealing massive damage. The Super itself gives you a stronger, channeled version of the Chain Lightning melee ability. You unleash a constant stream of lightning that deals low damage on its own, although it can chain between multiple targets. Your heavy attack allows you to teleport short distances.
Kinetic and Solar weapons inflict 7 Scorch per hit.
Grants homing grenades and a stronger variant of Incinerator Snap for its duration.
While active, you and nearby allies are Radiant and recharge abilities much faster.
Song of Flame empowers your Warlock with Solar energy, granting them a new suite of abilities and an empowering aura. The aura grants you and nearby allies Radiant and drastically reduced ability cooldowns. You and nearby allies also gainScorching Roundsfrom this aura, inflicting a small amount of Scorch when you use Kinetic or Solar weapons. This lasts for the Super’s entire duration.
Your grenade is replaced with a solar wisp, a flaming bird that aggressively tracks targets before exploding. It will chain between enemies, deals heavy damage, and has a two-second cooldown.Your melee is a stronger version of Incinerator Snap, firing seven projectiles with increased damage. Triggering an Ignition with this melee is quite easy. The melee attack has a two-second cooldown.
You can still use your weapons while in this Super. Activate it before a DPS phase to give your entire team Scorching Rounds and Radiant.
Detonates on impact, creating tracking seekers
Hurl a massive Void sphere that detonates on impact, releasing a swarm of seeker projectiles that aggressively track targets. The damage of Nova Bomb is mediocre on its own, but it can be greatly enhanced with the Exotic class item and the Star-Eaters perk. It’s also a great Super for killing Champions and similar miniboss units.
Instantly freezes on impact
Light attack releases freezing projectiles, heavy attack shatters frozen targets
Conjure an ice staff to cast barrages of Penumbral Blast, now featuring much more aggressive tracking. Once you’ve frozen a few enemies, use your heavy attack to unleash a wave of Stasis energy. Any frozen targets caught in the wave will be immediately shattered, capable of one-hit kills in PvP. This Super can also give your fireteam x10 Frost Armor for ten seconds while Ballidorse Wrathweavers are equipped.
Releases explosive projectiles that morph into Threadlings
Needlestorm creates a small army of Threadlings you launch at the enemy, similar to other one-and-done Supers. Once the projectiles land, they will explode and create a Threadling at each impact point. The Threadlings will then chase nearby enemies and explode.
If no enemies are nearby, your Threadlings will return to you instead and climb on your body, which is called “perching” in-game.You can have up to six perched Threadlings at a time. This behavior is present with all Threadlings while this Super is equipped, not just those spawned by Needlestorm.
Hunter Prismatic Aspects
Ascension
Press the air move key to gain altitude, releasing a wave of Arc energy under you. Enemies are Jolted and take damage, while you and your allies become Amplified.
Ascension consumes your class ability and activates all dodge effects.
3 Fragment Slots
Stylish Executioner
Defeating a target affected byanydebuff grants Invisibility and Truesight. Has a cooldown between activations.
When you become invisible this way, your next melee attack deals more damage and inflicts Weaken.
2 Fragment Slots
Gunpowder Gamble
Defeat targets with abilities, elemental debuffs, or Solar weapons to charge up an improvised Solar explosive. When charged, throw a solar explosive that can be shot in midair to cause an ignition.
Winter’s Shroud
Dodging slows nearby targets. Slowing targets briefly increases your class ability regeneration and grants temporary damage resistance.
Threaded Specter
Dodging creates a Strand copy of you that remains stationary. Destroying the clone will trigger an explosion, spawning two Threadlings.
After dodging, your class ability cooldown is lengthened for a few seconds.
Ascension gives you an aerial attack that acts as an extra jump. Activating this Aspect will consume your class ability to increase your Guardian’s altitude, releasing a wave of Arc energy to those beneath. Allies (yourself included) become Amplified for 15 seconds, while enemies are Jolted and take a small amount of damage.
In PvE, the damage is enough to trigger Jolt’s chain lightning effect, making this a surprisingly powerful add-clearing ability in most content. In PvP, the main use of Ascension is to gain Amplified by using your class ability, allowing you to trigger certain Prismatic Fragments like Facet of Sacrifice.
Defeating an enemy afflicted withanydebuff (not just Void debuffs) will grant invisibility for seven seconds. For the first two seconds of becoming invisible, you gain truesight and can see enemies through walls. Stylish Executioner has a two-second cooldown between activations, increased to 12 seconds in PvP.
You can use Stylish Executioner to trigger Gyrfalcon’s Hauberk for constant Volatile Rounds uptime, or you can take advantage of its secondary, far more niche benefit:after triggering this Aspect, your next melee attack from invisibility deals 150% more damage and inflicts Weaken. The damage bonus is much lower in PvP (20%), but this effectively gives you constant One-Two Punch in PvE.
Gunpowder Gamble has a six-second cooldown between activations.
Eliminating enemies withanyability (not just Solar) oranyelemental debuff will grant stacks of Gunpowder Gamble. Solar weapon kills also build stacks. At six stacks, your next grenade is replaced with a stick of dynamite. You can shoot the dynamite out of the air or wait for the fuse to blow. The explosion counts as an Ignition, which means you can increase its AoE with Facet of Ruin. It also allows Gunpowder Gamble to stun Unstoppable Champions.
Performing any dodge will trigger a slowing explosion around your character, inflicting x60 Slow to anything caught in the blast (reduced to 40 in PvP). This AoE doesn’t deal any damage, but the slow can be stacked by dodging multiple times or following up with another source of Slow. Melee builds using Combination Blow can make great use of shattering frozen targets created by this Aspect.
Additionally, slowing a target will greatly increase your class ability regeneration for a short duration. You also gain a sizable amount of damage resistance for two seconds upon dodging, similar to the Arcstrider’s Flow State Aspect.
Dodging will create a decoy of your Hunter at your previous location. This clone cannot move, draws enemy aggro in PvE, pings enemy radar in PvP, and has a visible health bar to enemy Guardians. Sustained damage to this clone will cause it to explode, spawning two Threadlings in the process. PvE players can pair this with Combination Blow to spawn a ton of Threadlings, while PvP players can use Threaded Specter for deception or on-demand cover.
Titan Prismatic Aspects
Unbreakable
Convert your grenade into a frontal shield that mitigates incoming damage. Release to detonate the shield in a frontal cone.
Consecration
While sliding, activate your melee ability to launch a wave of Solar energy that Scorches targets. Press melee again to slam the ground. Scorched targets are Ignited by the second blast.
Knockout
Critically wounding a target or breaking their shield grants 50% melee damage and increased lunge range.
Defeating targets with melee attacks makes you Amplified and restores a portion of your HP.
Diamond Lance
Shattering a target or landing a Stasis ability kill spawns a Stasis lance at their location.
The lance can be thrown or slammed into the ground, freezing targets on impact.
Drengr’s Lash
Your class ability releases a wave of energy that Suspends targets.
Holding the grenade key willconsume your grenade to project a frontal shield, draining your grenade energy each second it’s active. This shield grants 90% damage mitigation (75% in PvP) against all incoming frontal damage, althoughyou cannot shoot or use abilities while projecting the shield.
Ending the ability will unleash a frontal explosion, similar to Handheld Supernova on Voidwalker.A portion of all stored damage is dealt in this explosion. If you tank enough hits, this explosion can one-tap most enemies.
you may further enhance this Aspect with Ursa Furiosa. Blocking incoming damage will refund Super energy, up to 15%.
Performing a slide melee will launch your Titan in the air, unleashing a wave of Scorching energy. If you press the melee key again, you’ll slam the ground and create a second wave of energy. If any Scorched targets are hit by the second wave, they will immediately Ignite. This second slam consumes your melee charge.
Consecration counts as melee damage, so you’re able to drastically scale its Ignition damage through Exotics like Synthoceps and Wormgod Caress. You can potentially spam Consecration by pairing it withFrenzied Bladeto gain three melee charges. You can even use Heart of Inmost Light on the Exotic class item to drastically improve its regeneration rate.
Knockout is the Prismatic Titan’s core survivability Aspect.Breaking an enemy’s shield will increase your melee damage by 50% for six seconds. You’ll also gain increased melee lunge range. Killing an enemy with a melee ability while this buff is active will also grant Amplified and restore a portion of your HP, as shown below.
50 HP
75 HP
100 HP
Guardian
30 HP
This HP is granted immediately and doesn’t have an internal cooldown.
Defeating enemies with Stasis damage or Stasis abilities will generate aDiamond Lance, a pickup weapon that acts like a spear. While you have a Diamond Lance in hand, you can choose to slam it into the ground or throw it. Both actions will release a wave of Stasis energy on impact, freezing anything in the blast radius. You can then shatter the target for massive damage.
Diamond Lance has a seven-second cooldown between activations, but you may spawn these quite easily with the use of a Stasis weapon or the Cadmus Ridge Lancecap Exotic helmet.
Casting your Barricade will create a wave of suspending energy from your barricade, traveling a short distance before disappearing. Enemies are Suspended for roughly four seconds, so make sure you eliminate them before they break free.
This ability iscompletelydifferent for Thruster.Casting Thruster will spawn a Strand knot at your location, which will unleash a suspending burst after a short delay. The blast radius is fairly small; staying near targets is recommended.
you’re able to greatly enhance this Aspect with the Abeyant Leap Exotic boots.Barricadesfire more projectiles with more aggressive tracking, making it great for stunning a large group of enemies in front of you.Thrusterwill lob the Strand bomb at the closest target with an aggressive arc, similar to that of a mortar.
Warlock Prismatic Aspects
Hellion
Casting your class ability creates a Solar Soul that orbits your character for 20 seconds. The orb lobs explosive projectiles at targets, inflicting Scorch on hit.
Feed The Void
All ability kills grant Devour, and Devour’s effects are twice as powerful.
Lightning Surge
Perform a slide melee to create a lightning storm, Jolting targets caught in the blast.
Bleak Watcher
Convert your current grenade into an ice turret that fires slowing projectiles.
Weaver’s Call
Using your class ability spawns three Threadlings and deploys all perched Threadlings.
All Strand damage has a chance to generate a perched Threadling.
Using your class ability will conjure a Solar Orb by your side, lasting for 20 seconds. This Solar Orb fires mortar projectiles that inflict x30 Scorch on hit. Consecutive hits can trigger an Ignition, making Hellion a surprisingly strong PvE Aspect for most content. You can even stack it with Arc Soul and Bleak Watcher turrets.
Use Phoenix Dive with Hellion to quickly recast it.
Feed the Void is a simple yet effective Aspect for virtually all Warlock builds.Ability kills grant Devour, a Void keyword that restores 100 HP and 10% grenade energy with every kill, including weapon kills. Landing a kill while Devour is active will extend its duration, up to a maximum of ten seconds.
With Feed the Void equipped, your Devour buff is twice as powerful. It now fully heals you and restores 15% grenade energy with each kill. Pair this with Bleak Watcher or Osmiomancy Gloves to take advantage of the high grenade uptime.
Performing a slide melee will cause you toteleport a short distance before exploding, releasing a series of lightning bolts that Jolt targets and grant Bolt Charge. The lightning strikes can hit the same target multiple times in PvE butnotin PvP. Using this ability will also grant a moderate amount of damage reduction for a short duration.
you may greatly increase the uptime of this ability by pairing it withArcane Needlea Strand melee with three charges. You can then use Facet of Awakening to spawn Ionic Traces with rapid multikills, refunding a portion of your melee energy. You can even buff its damage output with Necrotic Grips or Synthoceps via the Exotic class item.
Holding the grenade input will convert it into a Bleak Watcher, aStasis turret that shoots in five-round bursts. Each projectile inflicts x10 Slow, allowing it to outright freeze targets with two bursts. Turrets last for 25 seconds andcanbe destroyed in PvP. Any grenade can be converted into a Bleak Watcher on Prismatic, not just Coldsnap Grenades.
This ability has some strong synergies withGetaway Artist, an Exotic that creates an Arc Soul upon consuming a grenade.Using an Arc grenade will spawn both an Arc Soulanda Bleak Watcher. You can even use Hellion and No Time to Explain to make additional turrets or ‘buddies.’
Casting your class ability (including Phoenix Dive) will spawnthree Threadlings at your location. If these Threadlings cannot find a target, they will return to you and ‘perch’ on your character, saving them for future use. You can launch the perched Threadlings by damaging a target or by casting your class ability. The latter will spawnallperched Threadlings at once, useful for burst DPS rotations.
Additionally, all Strand damage kills will grant progress towards spawning a perched Threadling.Rank and file enemies give 34% progress, Guardians give 50% progress, and bosses give 100% progress. It isnotrandom as the in-game description implies.
Prismatic Fragments
Every Prismatic subclass has access to 21 Fragments, most of which are augments of some fan-favorite Fragments seen on other subclasses. Unlike those subclasses, Prismatic’s Fragments are unlocked through Pale Heart exploration and secret challenges. You can find their locations in ourPrismatic Fragment locations guide. All 21 Fragment properties can be found below.
Facet Of Grace
Defeating targets with Kinetic weapons grants you bonus Transcendence energy. Defeating targets with your Super grants you and nearby allies bonus Transcendence energy. -10 Resilience.
Kinetic weapon kills grant roughly2% Transcendence energy for both Light and Dark meters. This bonus seems static and doesn’t scale with the weapon type used. Landing kills with your Super will also grant an extra 2% Transcendence energy to yourself and all allies within roughly 12 meters. This Fragment has no cooldown and works in PvP, albeit with lower effectiveness.
Facet Of Sacrifice
While you have an Arc, Solar, or Void buff, your ability final blows grants bonus Transcendence energy. +10 Discipline.
Facet of Sacrifice grants a flat2% Darkness Transcendence energy for every ability kill while affected by a Light subclass buff. This includes effects like Amplified, Radiant, Restoration, and Void Overshield. Darkness energy gained this way is static and doesnotscale with the ability’s damage output or how many buffs you’re affected by.
Facet Of Devotion
Defeating targets afflicted with a Stasis or Strand debuff grants bonus Light Transcendence energy. +10 Strength.
Facet of Devotion is similar to Facet of Sacrifice but has better scaling.Enemies debuffed with Darkness will grant Light Transcendence energy when defeated.Rank and file mobs give roughly 2% energy when slain, while tougher foes grant slightly more energy. Additionally, weaponandability kills count. So long as the enemy is debuffed with a Darkness keyword, this Fragment will trigger.
Facet Of Generosity
Defeating targets while Transcendent creates Orbs of Power for your allies.
Facet of Generosity makes Transcendence generate Orbs of Power, much like how Supers work. While Transcendent, every kill will spawn an Orb of Power up to a maximum of six. Each orb grants roughly 0.8% Super energy, the same as a Siphon mod.
The Power Preservation mod doesnotincrease how many orbs this Fragment can generate, but you can pair this with a roaming Super to spawn a copious number of orbs. You can activate Transcendence, cast your Super, then go on a killing spree to generate a dozen orbs in quick succession.
Facet Of Justice
While Transcendent, your ability final blows explode. +10 Intellect.
While you are Transcendent, all abilities will trigger an explosion on kill. Each explosion deals roughly as much damage as a Jolt shock, damaging all targets within a six-meter radius. The damage output is quite lackluster and doesn’t scale well in endgame content. Only use this Fragment if you have high uptime on Transcendence.
Facet Of Honor
Collecting an elemental pickup or destroying a Tangle grants Transcendence energy of the same type. +10 Strength.
Elemental pickups refer to Firesprites, Ionic Traces, Void Breaches, Stasis Shards, and Tangles. They each give a different amount of Transcendence energy, as shown below.
7.5%

5%
10%
Facet Of Hope
While you have an elemental buff, your class ability recharges more quickly.
While you’re affected by an elemental buff (such a Amplified or Woven Mail),your class ability recharges 60% faster.Facet of Hope previously had a bug where it didn’t apply while you were Amplified, but this was patched partway through Episode: Echoes. The regeneration bonus stacks multiplicatively with other regeneration scalars like Heart of Inmost Light.
Facet Of Courage
Your Arc, Solar, and Void abilities deal increased damage to targets afflicted with Darkness debuffs. +10 Discipline.
Enemies affected by a Darkness debuff, such as Slow or Sever, receive10% more damage from all Light subclass abilities.Hunters can make great use of this Fragment by pairing it with Combination Blow and Winter’s Shroud. Throw on Synthoceps (via the Exotic class item) or Liar’s Handshake for some absurd melee DPS.
Facet Of Balance
Rapidly defeating targets with Light damage grants melee energy. Rapidly defeating targets with Dark damage grants grenade energy.
Facet of Balance has two effects baked into it.Triple kills withLightdamage grant 10% melee energy.Darkness energy is similar.Triple kills withDarkdamage grant 10% grenade energy. This effect doesn’t have a cooldown and can be used in PvP.
Facet Of Bravery
Defeating targets with grenades grants Volatile Rounds to your Void weapons. Defeating targets with powered melee final blows grants Unraveling Rounds to your Strand weapons.
Facet of Bravery merges Echo of Instability and Thread of Propagation into a single Fragment.Grenade kills grant ten seconds of Volatile Rounds, and melee kills grant ten seconds of Unraveling Rounds.
Volatile Rounds grant Void weapons explosive ammunition that causes targets to detonate when they take enough damage. Unraveling Rounds cause Strand weapons to infect targets with Unravel projectiles as they take damage. Consecutive damage will spawn more Unravel projectiles, spreading to nearby enemies.
Facet Of Awakening
Rapid elemental final blows and Super final blows generate an elemental pickup of the matching damage type. +10 Resilience
Landing a triple kill with a single damage type will spawn an elemental pickup of the same damage type. For example,a triple kill with Solar damage would spawn a Firesprite. This applies to every damage type, although each pickup has to adhere to that pickup’s cooldown timer. For example, you can’t spawn back-to-back Tangles with this Fragment—you’d have to wait 12 seconds to spawn another one.
Subclass pickups are as follows:
Facet Of Command
Freezing or suppressing a target reloads your equipped weapons and increases stability, aim assist, and airborne effectiveness. Defeating frozen or suppressed targets creates a Stasis Shard or Void Breach, respectively.
Freezing or Suppressing a target will grantFacet of Commandfor ten seconds, which grants +20 weapon stability, +20 aim assist, and +20 airborne effectiveness. This buff cannot be refreshed while active.
Additionally, whenever you gain Facet of Command, all of your weapons will reload from reserves.Since this buff can’t be refreshed, this autoloading property can only activate once every ten seconds.
Facet Of Dawn
Powered melee hits against targets make you Radiant. Powered melee final blows make both you and nearby allies Radiant. -10 Strength.
Powered melee hits grantRadiant for ten seconds, which is a 20% weapon damage buff. Subsequent melee hits will refresh the timer. Radiant doesnotstack with other empowering buffs like Weapons of Light, but itdoesstack with surge effects found on leg armor.
Unlike Ember of Torches, melee hits don’t grant Radiant to allies by default. You must Transcend to give Radiant to nearby allies.
Facet Of Protection
While surrounded by enemies, you are more resistant to incoming damage. While Transcendent, the effect is increased. +10 Strength
While three enemies are within eight meters, you gain 15% damage resistance. Despite the in-game description, this Fragment isnotenhanced while Transcendent;it simply stacks with Transcendent’s intrinsic 20% DR, doing so multiplicatively.
Facet Of Blessing
Melee final blows start health regeneration. Powered melee final blows start health regeneration for you and nearby allies.
All melee kills, including uncharged melee and Glaives, will start HP regeneration upon landing a kill. This is absurdly powerful in PvP and is always worth using in that environment. It’s not a bad option in PvE either for melee-centric builds.
As an added bonus, this Fragment also heals nearby allies while you’re Transcendent.
Facet Of Purpose
Picking up an Orb of Power grants either Bolt Charge, Restoration, Frost Armor, Woven Mail, or Overshield based on the damage type of your equipped Super. -10 Recovery.
Facet of Purpose is the main survivability Fragment for Prismatic.Picking up an Orb of Power will give you a defensive keyword based on your equipped Super. For example, if you have a Strand Super equipped, you’ll gain Woven Mail upon grabbing an orb. The duration and overall strength of each keyword varies wildly with this Fragment.
Restores 35 HP per second
70% (Overshield only)
Grants 22.5 Overshield, caps at 45
6.25% per stack
31.25% at x5 stacks
45%
5 Seconds
For most builds, we suggest usingRestoration or Frost Armor.Restoration grants passive, uninterruptible HP regeneration throughout its duration. Frost Armor grants an escalating DR buff with every stack. Each Orb of Power grants two stacks of Frost Armor, so you’ll get roughly 12% DR with every stack, capping out at 31.25% DR with five orbs.
Facet Of Mending
Grenade final blows Cure you. While Transcendence is active, this effect is stronger.
Grenade final blows grantx1 Cure, which is roughly 60 HP or a quarter of your health bar. If you’re Transcendent, you’ll gain x2 Cure instead, doubling the strength of the heal. This Fragment has no cooldown and works in PvP, albeit less effectively.
Facet Of Defiance
Finishers create a detonation that either Jolts, Scorches, Slows, Severs, or makes targets Volatile, based on the damage type of your equipped Super. +10 Recovery.
Performing a finisher on a target will debuff nearby enemies with a keyword matching your Super. This effect doesn’t have a cooldown, although the use of finishers is somewhat limited in PvE. Since you can’t use finishers on Guardians, this Fragment does nothing in PvP.
Facet Of Solitude
Rapid precision hits emit a Severing burst from the target. While Transcendent is active, the burst is larger.
Upon landing20% of your magazine as precision hits on the same target, they will release a wave of severing energy. All enemies within six meters of the target will be Severed, reducing their damage output by 40% (15% in PvP). This effect doesn’t have a cooldown.
If you’re using a Bow, you’ll need to land two precision hits instead.
This Fragment is incredibly powerful on Hunters, as it allows you to trigger Stylish Executioner just by landing headshots. A Hand Canno with a low magazine size, such as Igneous Hammer, can trigger Solitude just before you land the killing blow, proccing Stylish Executioner in the process.
Facet Of Ruin
Stasis Shatters have increased area and deal more damage. Solar Ignitions cover a wider area. +10 to the stat that governs your class ability.
Facet of Ruin merges Ember of Eruption and Whisper of Fissures into one Fragment.Stasis Shatters deal roughly 10% more damage and are 50% larger, affecting all sources of Stasis shatters. This includes Stasis crystals, frozen enemies, and the Headstone perk on weapons.
Solar Ignitions are20% largerwhile this Fragment is equipped, increasing their blast radius to ten meters. This works with all sources of Ignitions, including Gunpowder Gamble and Incinerator Snap.
Facet Of Dominance
Your Void grenades Weaken, and Arc grenades Jolt targets. -10 Discipline.
All Void grenades will inflict a15% Weakenfor five seconds on the target. Arc grenades will inflictJoltinstead, triggering a chain lightning effect as the target takes sustained damage. This Fragment also affects Transcendence grenadeswhere applicable.
