With dozens of resources available for you to gather inV Rising, it can be an added stressor to know that not all of it can be teleported. When you try to go through a Waygate, many important crafting items will prevent you from doing so; thankfully, there is a way around this.

In this guide, we are going to take a look at how to teleport with resources that usually can’t be teleported. It’s important to quickly note that this is not a ‘cheat’, it’s simply a setting in the game’s menu when you are creating a server.

How To Allow Teleportation With Resources

To teleport with resources, you will need tohead into the ‘Advanced Game Settings…’ menuwhensetting up aprivate server. On the first tab, you’ll see a panel titled’Items'.The second option underneath this will be'‘Teleport Bound Items’.

When ticked, items can prevent you from teleportation. By un-ticking the box,you will be able to use a Waygate for teleportation with no restrictions.

Thisisn’t possible to do in the ‘Online Play’ mode,as you aren’t setting up the server yourself. Additionally, youwill not see this option in the settings menu after you’ve already started a game.

Why Would You Turn Off Teleportation Limits?

So, what’s the point of doing this?Limited teleportation can pose a challenge to a server, especially if you areplaying PvP with multiple people. For example, say you just teleportedvery far from your castlein order to gather some resources.

Rather than quickly teleporting home and being safe, the run home will expose you to other players. There’s a chance that someone willsee you running and attempt to attack. This is the bread-and-butter of PvP.

Of course,if you areplaying alone, you may not care as much.Running through multiple biomes on an established route can be tedious, so this would be agood reason to untick the teleportation box.
