The much-awaited gameSolo Leveling: Arisehas launched globally, and players are flocking to begin their journey as hunters. You, too, can become a ‘player’ and start clearing dungeons with your party of hunters. But there are many things you need to keep in mind when playing to ensure that you don’t waste valuable resources.
As a beginner, keeping track of all these features can be overwhelming. Moreover, you also need to manage your resources to ensure you don’t miss out on valuable EXP and valuables. So, here are some tips to help you make the right choices and create the strongest team of hunters.

Focus On Leveling Up
Just like in the anime, thefirst thing that you need to focus on doing is leveling up, as your character’s level decides the maximum level for your hunters. So, you should finish the story chapters toget EXP points and level up quickly.
Apart from that, quickly leveling up also unlocks various features likeChallenges, Crafting, and Fusion. Another significant advantage of leveling up is that itallows you to change your job, which lets you learn new skills for Sung Jinwoo andprovides additional skill points, making your character even more powerful.

Jobs in Solo Leveling: Arise starts with ‘Assassin’ and goes up to ‘The Monarch of Shadows.’ To unlock new jobs, you must complete a challenge. Challenging the late-game jobsrequires a high level to attempt them.
Finish Story Chapters Quickly
Apart from leveling up, the next thing you need to do iscomplete the story chapters. Everypiece of content in this game is locked behind the story chapters, and you need to complete them to unlock those features.
Completing story chapters also provides you withmany Essence Stones, EXP, and Custom Draw Tickets. you may use them to get stronger characters and increase your hunters' levels.

From summoning your shadow army and getting magical artifacts to even attempting game modes like Battlefield of Trials and Time, everything requires you to have completed acertain chapter from the Story mode.
you’re able to also attempt ‘Side Chapters’ apart from the Main Story.Side chapters take less time to complete but provide equally good rewards, like the story mode, so don’t skip them.

Always Clear Battle Missions
Whenever you attempt any stage in Solo Leveling: Arise, you will seecertain ‘Battle Missions’ pop up on the right. Clearing these missions is something you should prioritize whenever you attempt a stage.
You get15 Essence Stones as a rewardwhenever you complete a battle mission, but that’s not all. Clearing every battle mission in a chapter rewards you withtwo to three Custom Draw Ticketsworth around 500-750 Essence stones, making it alucrative way of farming Draw Tickets.

Finish The Tutorial
When you start playing, you will be initially asked to complete a long tutorial thattakes ten to 15 minutes to complete. This deters many new players from skipping the tutorial, which is a big mistake, as completing the tutorial hasnumerous benefits.
You not only learn aboutvarious skills and mechanicsin the game but also get aton of rewards, which you would’ve missed if you had skipped it.Every tutorial stage rewards you with ten essence stones on completion, and there are around15–20 stages for you to complete.

You canreturn to the Tutorial stagesto complete them andget the rewardsfrom the in-game menu. If you’re a beginner, you shouldcomplete the tutorialat the start of the game toavoid the hassle of attempting each stage manually.
Complete Every Enhancement And Advancement
You can judge the strength of your character and hunterby looking at their ‘Battle Power.‘Whenever you level up your character or hunters, their battle power increases by a certain amount, andthe recommended battle power can help you gauge the difficulty of the stage you’re attempting.
Enhancements and advancementsare the only other ways to increase your battle powerbesides leveling up. You can enhance the equipped weapons to increase the overall battle power of that gear, andyou can also advance your hunters to increase their battle power and unlock new passive skills.

Advancing your hunters requires you to have additional copies of them, andyou cannot advance a hunter without an extra copy. You cannot advance your main character, so theonly way of increasing his power is by enhancing the weapon.
Remember To Clear Gates And Start Mining
Once you’re finished leveling up, the next thing you should do is clear the gates; like in the anime, gates are dungeons filled with monsters that you must clear to gain rewards. There are two kinds of gates in Solo Leveling: Arise,a Hunters-only Gate, and a Character-only Gate.
The type of gate determines what kind of party you can take to raid the gate;each gate also has a rank, which determines the difficulty of the monsters you’ll face inside the dungeon,as they’re ranked from D-rank to S-rank.

If you successfully clear a gate, you’re able to mine it for additional rewards;mining a cleared gate provides you with ‘Mana Crystals’, which can be used to craft items. The higher the gate’s rank, the better the rewards you get from mining it.
Mining a cleared gatetakes a long time. Depending on the gate’s rank, it cantake anywhere from a few minutes to even some hours. But the miningcontinues even when you’re offline,so you don’t have to stay online and wait for hours.

Don’t Forget To Use Your Stat Points
Whenever you level up your main character (Sung Jiwoo),you are rewarded with five stat points. Stat points can be assigned to your character’s attributes, which provide an extra boost to them.
There are five attributes:Vitality, Strength, Agility, Intelligence, and Perception. It can be confusing to decide which attribute you should contribute the most stat points towards, so you’re able to see the list below to findwhich one’s the best for you and which stats to prioritize.

Lowest
Perception boosts only your precision stat. Thehigher the precisionyou have, thehigher the minimum damageyou deal to enemies and monsters. This is useful againstenemies with damage reduction and high defense.
Be On The Lookout For Events and Challenges
In addition to the game modes, you can also completevarious challenges and eventsfrom time to time. When you begin playing, you’ll receive abeginner’s challenge, which rewards you with a ton of Custom Draw Ticketsjust for completing Story Mode chapters.
On the other hand, events are usually limited-time andrequire you to complete missions to get rewards, which can then be used to claim rewards. Most events also have a leaderboard, which provides evenbetter rewards if you can rank on it.
Don’t Forget To Use Redeem Codes
Normally, you can get rewards and tickets forcompleting missions and chapters, which require you to clear stages. But there is another way to claim equally good rewardswithout having to do any of the tedious tasks.
Redeem codes in Solo Leveling: Ariseallows you to claim free, limited-time rewards, such as Essence stones, Gold, and even Custom Draw Tickets. These freebies provide a much-needed boost to become even stronger without having to spend a penny.
Complete Daily Missions Regularly
Multiple features in the game are anime-accurate, andone of them is the ‘Daily Missions.‘To be precise, only the rewarding aspect of the daily missions is included, since thereisn’t any penalty for not completing them, apart from the fact that you miss out on a lot of rewards.
Apart from Daily And Weekly missions, you may also get EXP, Reputation, and gold from ‘Activity Funds.‘The activity fund is an idle reward that collects resources over time while you’re offline, and therewards depend on your level and story progress.
Completing daily missions provides a lot of EXP to help level up your character;you also get 100 Essence stones every day from completing daily missions.Because of similar missions, your ‘Weekly Missions’ are also completed from the regular completion of daily tasks, which provides you with anextra 250 Essence stones per week, alongside thecopious amounts of EXP as well.
