One ofStellar Blade’soverarching themes is conspiracy, which explains the citizens of Xion’s mixed reactions to EVE. After all, the Airborne Squadrons that EVE represents reflect a colony of humankind that seems to have abandoned their earthbound counterparts. With waves of resentment prevalent, it’s up to EVE to earn back Xion’s trust. Many of Stellar Blade’s side quests stem from these efforts.

An Eye For An Eye, A Tooth For A Toothis an example of Stellar Blade’s more formidable side quests. EVE takes on this quest after speaking with Sentinel Min, who lost his comrades to a Naytiba during a recent mission in the Great Desert. Can EVE find the Naytiba responsible for this massacre and avenge Min’s fallen soldiers? Hopefully, with some tips from our guide, she can.

Where Do I Begin The Quest?

Min’s comrades fell fighting a powerful Naytiba somewhere in the Great Desert’sBuried Ruins. However, finding this location requires a keen eye since you’re looking for a way to travel across the ruins' rooftops. So, how can you reach higher ground?

The closest waypoint to your desired destination is thepayphone near the Opera House. Follow the directions below to find theladder leading to the Buried Ruins' rooftops.

EVE transforms into Tachy Mode to perform a jump from one rooftop to another in the Great Desert’s Buried Ruins in Stellar Blade.

How Do I Complete The Platforming Section?

The most challenging part of An Eye for an Eye, a Tooth for a Tooth is itsplatforming section. You’ll need reasonable precision to climb to the Buried Ruins' highest point. Fortunately, your trek to the top will feel seamless if you follow the steps below:

A mechanism aboard the second-to-last rooftop drops a rope down to the ground. Activate this rope to skip the platforming if you lose to Abaddon the first time.

How To Find The Hidden Chest

How Do I Solve The Ramp Puzzle?

The ramp puzzle in this quest is mindboggling - but not for the reasons you would expect. You’ll see asee-saw leading to a metal polethat faces an adjacent building. Your objective is tostabilize the see-saw so it operates like a ramp, allowing you to successfully jump to the pole. Fortunately, this is the easy part.

You’ll quickly recognize alarge, yellow crateamong a sea of blue ones.Move this crate to the yellow square markingbeneath the end of the see-saw closest to the pole. Push the crate as deep into the center of the see-saw as possible so the ramp reaches maximum height.

Why Can’t I Jump To The Pole?

Remember when we said making the ramp was the easy part? Here is the hard part: that ramp will not be enough to help you reach the pole. This detail almost broke us during our playthrough, mainly because there were no other environmental clues to assist us. Fortunately, we found a solution.

You must activate Tachy mode to successfully jumpfrom the ramp to the pole. That’s because the extra speed EVE gets in Tachy mode will cover the distance required to reach the pole. So, remember to fill your Tachy gauge via combat before attempting An Eye for an Eye, a Tooth for a Tooth.
