Helldivers 2gives players the burden of fighting for liberty and spreading the managed democracy of Super Earth. As you complete each objective during operations with other players throughout the world, you will encounter many who are not only anti-Super Earth but also mean to you.
Players like these intentionally exploit the friendly fire mechanics and kill teammates. Some even kick teammates from the team just when they are about to board the Pelican One and reap the sweet rewards of completing a 40-minute mission. Players like these must be reported and punished.
How To Report Players
You can only report players who are mean or toxic to you in the in-game chat.
To report a player, a random one who joined you at the start or during mid-mission,you must first return to your ship. Afterward,go to the Social sectionfrom the pause menu screen andnavigate to the Recent Playerssection.
You will see the last eight random playerswho joined your game.You canonly report any of these eightif they were toxic or mean to you in the in-game chat option.
Currently,there is no other way to report playersof their wrongdoingif they do not use the chat feature.Players who hurl racial abuse using the mic or keep killing you on purpose to ruin your in-game experience never get punished, as the report feature is not designed for them in the current state of the game.
What To Do If You Can Not Report A Player?
The next best course of action that isclose to reporting a player is blocking them. This will stop them from joining your team and you from joining them. Basically, the game puts a filter onwhen you block the players, and they arenever allowed to join your squad, andneither can you jointhem.
Blocking a player is similar to reporting. When you interact with a player profile in the Social tab, you will see the block button prompt right above the report.
There isno cap on how many players you can block, so feel free to block as many as you find if a certain player kicks you off the team at the last minute of extraction.Bad behavior towards the elite soldiers of the Super Earth should never be toleratedand must be punished.
If the game does not allow you to punish such players, the least you can do is block and limit it from happening again.
