As you go around different villages and towns inEiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, you’ll find various characters giving you their specific recruitment quests. In most cases, these quests will ask you to fetch a certain item or get a specific character in your party, but Quinn is quite unique.
You’ll find her during the main story once you reach Impershi’arc, but she’ll refuse to talk to you until you reach adequate strength. Once that happens, she’ll take you to an exclusive dungeon that can only be unlocked by her.
How To Progress In Den Of The Dunes
You’ll only enter Den of the Dunes once you get enough strength to talk to Quinn asshe’ll take you there through the Shi’arcraft. Once in this area, you’ll first meet another future character at the start. However, you might easily get stuck after this part if you like to hug the corners of the map in an attempt to find all the chests.
While there are many chests scattered around this area, the main way to continue the quest of Quinn’s recruitment is bygetting close to the giant wormhole right in front of the entrance. Once you get close, you’ll have to fight the Oyamatsumi boss, but it’ll run away once you deal enough damage.
You’ll have to find and defeat Oyamatsumi two more times in thetop left and bottom left wormholesto recruit Quinn.
You’ll also get the Rune of Power from this battle.
How To Defeat Oyamatsumi
Oyamatsumi isn’t a difficult boss in Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes by any means, but the fact thatyou have to defeat it up to three times is the main issue. In the third battle, this boss also gets a second phase once it gets to low health with a yellow or red name. Before this, you’ll mostly see single-target or column-based attacks from it.
The best way to defeat this boss is by running a couple of mages wielding the Water-type magic. Being an Earth boss,he takes a lot more damage from this type of magic. You also need to keep your front line at relatively high health since the boss can deal quite a lot of damage with some attacks.
All Chest Locations In Den Of The Dunes
Here are all the chests you can find in Den of the Dunes:

Move forward from the entrance of the area and hug the boundary to the left side. You’ll find the chestas you reach the bottom left part.

You’ll see this chestfrom the first chestin the top left corner of your screen already. It’s comfortably sitting beside a Shi’arc NPC.

Use the flower near the second chest to getthrown onto the area aheadand you’ll find this chest on the top left side.

Head back down to the bottom right part of the area and you’llfind it in the extended portionto the right.

Use theflower in the middle part of the areaand you’ll easily get to this chest.

Use the flower on the right side in the area with chest number five toreach a small part of the landwith this chest.

After getting chest number six, you’re able to use the flower in the area to go back to the area with chest five, andthen use the flower on the left to get to this part. You’ll find the chest tucked on the right side.

The final chest of this area can be found by using the flower near chest seven toget to a little strip of land on the top right side.
