Diablo 4has released a new season, featuring a rework of many core game systems, notably Helltide and itemization. One system that has stayed the same is the Season Journey, the main way of earning Battle Pass XP in Diablo 4. Complete the challenges, earn Favor, and unlock new Battle Pass rewards like Smoldering Ashes.
While the system itself hasn’t seen many changes, this season’s challenges require you to complete activities that have seen complete reworks or changes in Season of Loot Reborn. This guide will showcase how to complete every Season Journey challenge added in Diablo 4’s fourth season, featuring all seven Chapters worth of in-game challenges.
Chapter One Challenges
You must complete eight of the listed challenges to unlock the next Chapter.
Smaller Favor
Forager
Collect Bundled Herbs from harvest Nodes, Cellars, or various other sources throughout Sanctuary.
Fragrant Find
Collect 10 Angelbreath from harvest Nodes, Cellars, or various other sources throughout Sanctuary.
Prospector
Collect 50 Iron Chunks from salvaging weapons and jewelry, mineral nodes, or various other sources throughout Sanctuary.
Tanner’s Apprentice
Collect 50 Rawhide from salvaging armor, defeating monsters, or various other sources throughout Sanctuary.
Chapter Two Challenges
You must complete seven of the listed challenges to unlock the next Chapter.
Dismantle Legendary items or complete dungeons to unlock Aspects.
Honorary Wolf
Increase your Wolf’s Honor rank to 6 by battling evil in Helltide zones.
Notarized Nuisance
Increase your Threat Level to max by defeating monsters during Helltide.
Learn any recipe of Magic rarity or higher.

Obtain 10 caches from the Tree of Whispers by completing Whispers.
Predator And Prey
Risk And Reward
Raised By Wolves
Increase your Wolf’s Honor Rank to 9 by battling evil in Helltide zones.
Ineffable Draughts
Consume 5 Seasonal Elixirs, Elixir of Momentum, or Elixir of Holy Bolts.
Learn any recipe of Rare rarity or higher.
Chapter Four Challenges
You must complete nine of the listed challenges to unlock the next Chapter.
Decent Into Delirium
Defeat 666 Elite monsters while using the Profane Mindcage in a World Tier 3+ Helltide.
Stem The Tide
Defeat 666 monsters while at max Threat Level during WT3+ Helltide.
Bank Of Madness
Defeat 666 monsters while affected by the Profane Mindcage in Helltide.
Slayer Challenges
Favor
Damnation’s Downfall
Defeat each of the 5 Helltide Commanders while affected by the Profane Mindcage during Helltide, summoned after completing a Helltide event.
Shock And Awe
No Mere Mortal
Unlock a Legendary Paragon node after reaching Level 50, through using Paragon points.
Alpha Member
Increase your Wolf’s Rank to 15 by battling evil in Helltide.
Form And Function
Upgrade 5 items by adding sockets to them at any Jeweler.
Guilt
Defeat Echo of Varshan in WT3+, summoned under the Tree of Whispers with materials from WT3+ Nightmare Whisper Caches.
Champion Challenges
You must complete ten of the listed challenges to unlock the next Chapter.
Forgiveness
Defeat Lord Zir in WT4, summoned in Fractured Peaks with Exquisite Blood.
Exquisite Blood drops from WT4 World Bosses and Legion Events.
Harbinger Of Ice
Defeat The Beast in the Ice in WT4, summoned with Distilled Fear from T30+ Nightmare Dungeons.
Born In Torment
Defeat 10 Hellborne while using the Profane Mindcage during WT4 Helltide.
Anguish Ignited
Defeat Echo of Andariel in WT4, summoned in Kehjistan with materials from The Beast in the Ice and Lord Zir.
Exterminator
Defeat Echo of Duriel in WT4, summoned in Kehjistan with materials from Grigoire and the Echo of Varshan.
Learn any recipe of Legendary rarity or higher.
Cleaning Day
Defeat 666 monsters within 6 minutes while using a Profane MIndcage in WT4 Helltide.
Preamble
Complete Artificer’s T1 or higher in The Pit, located at the Artificer’s Obelisk in Cerrigar and activated with Runeshards.
Destroyer Challenges
You must complete seven of the listed challenges to receive the Chapter rewards.
