Pokemon Sleep recently announced that Entei would be appearing soon, and like with Raikou, a team of different lines of Fire-type Pokemon will be helpful. Unfortunately, fire types in general are pretty rare, and when Entei was announced there were only four unique fully evolved Fire-type Pokemon in the game, just shy of a full team.
Thankfully in the lead-up to Entei’s arrival at the end of May, Select Button is giving players the chance to catch a new Fire-type, Vulpix, and train up their current ones with Fire-type Week. Many of the features from Electric-type Week are returning, so this is the perfect chance to train your team.
Event Information
Fire-type week will run until May 13, during which you will havea boosted chance of seeing Fire-type Pokemonregardless of your sleep style, and one Pokemon each session is guaranteed to be hungry.
This includes Flareon and the Charizard, Cyndaquil, Growlith, and Vulpix lines.
This is an all-areas event, meaning you can take part regardless of which area you’re in. However,you’ll want to conduct research on either Greengrass Isle and Taupe Hollow,as those are the only areas where the majority of Fire-types will appear.
The Mini Candy Boost feature, which gives you twice as much experience from candies in exchange for four times as many dream shards, is also available once again.
Reminder that you’re able to only use this feature 50 times a day.
How To Get Vulpix And Ninetails In Pokemon Sleep
Vulpix and Ninetails can be encountered at Greengrass Isle or Taupe Hollow either naturally or with incense, and they come withthe Energizing Cheer skillthat restores energy to your Pokemon.
you may encounter them with lower ranked Snorlax at Taupe Hollow than at Greengrass Isle
If you have a Vulpix, you can use 80 Vulpix Candy and a Fire Stone to evolve it into Ninetails. Normally they are Snoozing type, but can appear regardless of sleep style during this event.
Event Missions
This event introduces a new item called Fire Candy, which can be earned from rewards. When used on a Fire-type Pokemon, it can be exchanged for four of that Pokemon’s candies.
