How Do Servers Work?

The only time you can choose your server and region is when you first create your character.If you want to move to another region or world, you must create a new character.

You initially get tochoose between three regions of the world. then within those regions, you can choose which world or server to play on. Within that server or world, you may then choose which part of the map to spawn on.

How To Create A Party

you may create a party with just about anyone. All you have to do iswalk up to someone and hover over themwith your cursor. Some options will pop up.Use yourmouse scroll wheelto select the second option, “Invite To Party”.

When you invite someone to your party,their player icon, health, and stamina will show on the side of the screen. This is a great way to see if your friend is in danger and about to die.

Even if you leave the game, your party will remain banded together.

You can privately chat with your partybychanging the text channel to Party. This can be done by pressing Enter to open the text chat, and thenselecting “Say” above the text boxto change the channel.

If you open your map, you will be able to see where your party members are at all times.Party members will appear as colored dots on the map.

How Do Clans Work

Clans are basically factions that you can grow.PvP is not yet in the gamebut the developers have it planned for the future. The idea is that Clans will be able to fight each other.As the game stands right now in Early Access, Clans make building with friends easierand make you look cooler.

You canprivately speak to Clan membersby changing the text channel to “Clan” instead of “Say” or “Party”.

The Clan leader is the only one with the power to change things. The Clan leader or Alderman can create the name, change the heraldry (aka the icon/clan colors), make Clan announcements, and invite members. Inviting people into your Clan is the same as inviting someone into a party. Hover over them with your cursor and select the “Invite To Clan” option.

Your Clan Tabard can be crafted with a higher Tailoring skill level. AClan Tabard is basically a garb that can display your Clan icon and colors.

How To Create A Clan

To create or join a Clan, press TAB and head to the Clan section at the top of the screen. In this menu, you can search for Clans to request to join or you can create your own from scratch. This is where you will go to edit your Clan announcements and heraldry as well.

You can promote Clan membersto Alderman by clicking their name under Villagers in this Clan menu.

What Power Do You Have In A Party?

Aside from speaking privately, you can alsoset your chests to Party or Clanso that you may share resources with your friends. The greatest benefit to having a party specifically is that yourparty members recover your dead bodyfor you.

If your party member happens to be closer to your corpse than you are, they can use Summon Corpse (Party). This action is done by holding down T for teleport.Players can summon their corpses or their party members' corpses closer to them. This is helpful if you have died next to a deadly enemy.
