The second season ofStreet Fighter 6is here and has kicked things off with a banger, bringing M. Bison back from the grave as this season’s first DLC character. Like in the previous Street Fighter games, M. Bison is a charge character but now has motion inputs, making him more of a hybrid character.
Additionally, thanks to the new systems and mechanics of Street Fighter 6, M. Bison has access to lots of devastating actions, making this the most fun and interesting version of him to date, meaning we will likely see more and more people play as him now more than ever.

M. Bison Overview
M. Bisonis a tremendously strongcharge characterin Street Fighter 6 withtremendous Standard Attacks and excellent walk speed, allowing him todominate the neutral game and deal large amounts of damage. He even has someattacks that leave him at an advantage even when blocked, which seem extremely strong.
If you were worried about M. Bison being a bit neutered this time because he no longer has access to some of his more annoying actions from previous titles, you’re able to safely put those worries to rest, as he is still outstanding. While hisdamage output may not be the highestin the game,it is still pretty up there, especially if you canpull off his combos.

Hisnormals have great range, and he also hasmany ways to combo off of theminto a full combo, leading to lots of damage and experimentation. This doesn’t even cover his ability toeffortlessly land Punish Counters, which is largely thanks to hisfast back walk speed and far-reaching normals, having him dish out damage like it’s going out of style.
And, if that wasn’t enough,M. Bison also has a throw-loop.While it isharder to pull off now, thanks to the universal nerfon throws in the corner, hestill very much has one and has solid corner pressureas a result. Bison showed up wanting to dominate the arena, and it looks like he has more than enough potential to do just that!

M. Bison Tips And Tricks
Lastly, we want to highlight a few more tips and tricks for M. Bison that will help you get the most out of histremendously high-damage offense, which takes full advantage of hisPsycho Mines, fast movement speed, and deceptively far-reaching normals.
Again, whileM. Bison isn’t typically going to consistently output damage as high as Marisa.Still, hehas the potential to reach nearly that same levelwith the use of hisPsycho Mines and the ability to severely punish his opponentsfor guessing wrong.
Performing Bison’sBackfist Combo(⭣⭩⭠ P) willplace a Psycho Mine on his opponent, having itdetonate automatically after a set period or manually with specific attacks. While that logic seems simple enough, what you may not know ishow drastically that changes his pressure,as it is super scary for the opponent if it detonates.
Placing a Psycho Mine on your opponent in the corneropens the door fortremendous amounts of pressure and mind games,as theydon’t want to get stuck in athrow-loopand definitely do not want to be hit,as a devastating Psycho Mine combo can kill them on the spot. So,use this to your advantage to get in and keep them flustered while looking for an openingto land a hit that can lead to disgusting amounts of damage!
