Partner Events add a fresh twist to the classicMonopoly Goexperience and give you a chance to score exclusive prizes. The newest challenge,Aqua Partners, invites you and your friends to construct stunning aquariums from the ground up.
Aqua Partners launched on July 12, 2025, and will be active for five days, giving you enough time to build incredible aquariums and win the rewards. The grand prize for completing this event includes 5,000 dice rolls, aPurple sticker pack, and an adorable Puffer Fish board token. How To Play Aqua Partners
If you’re a new Monopoly Go player, you’ll need tobe at least on Board 5 to participate in Partner Events. Once the Aqua Partners event is active, there will be four designated spots on your board for partner teams.
Since you can’t change your partners once selected,you shouldfind reliable people to team up with. You can find partners through the in-game suggestions, the officialMonopoly Go Trading Groupon Facebook, or the officialMonopoly Go Discord server.
After you’ve selected your partners, you’ll get access to a special event wheel, whereone spin costs 20 Shells.If you want to play your part in building the aquariums, you’ll need around3,000 to 6,000 Shell tokens.
Once you’ve collected a decent amount of tokens, you can increase the token multiplier to use 200 to 600 tokens per spin and maximize the points earned.
Thankfully, there are multiple ways to collect Shell tokens. The most reliable method of stockpiling Shells is byactively participating inall events and tournamentsthat coincide with the Aqua Partners event. Alternatively, you can get a handful of Shells by landing on the designated pickup tiles, claiming gifts in the shop, or completing your Quick Wins every day.
The trick here is to communicate with your teammates anddecide on a building approach for your aquariums.Some players might prefer to complete one aquarium entirely before moving on to the next, while others might choose to work on all four aquariums simultaneously.
Focusing oncompleting one aquarium at a timeallows your team to maximize the benefit of the milestone rewards(like the High Roller and Cash Boost) for each aquarium. For example, a High Roller can help you collect Shells faster, ultimately speeding up your progress.
