There are many rare items inDragon’s Dogma 2, but not all of them come in abundance. There are times when you’ll need to give an NPC a valuable item or grimoire, but you could also use them for yourself. Thankfully, there’s an alternative that leads to a (mostly) happy compromise.

In Checkpoint Rest Town, you’ll find Ibrahim’s Scrap Store. He sells a wide range of wares and offers unique services that can help you obtain duplicate items, though they’re not exact replicas. Here’s everything you need to know to make use of his forged items in Dragon’s Dogma 2.

Where To Find Ibrahim’s Scrap Store

Near the border to Battahl,in Checkpoint Rest Town, you’ll find numerous points of interest. One of these isIbrahim’s Scrap Store, where you’ll find a friendly man dedicated to his craft.

The shop islocated down a small slope, hidden behind one of the main buildings. It’s easy to miss if you’re in a hurry, so be sure to keep an eye out.

How To Make Forged Items

Ibrahim offers forgeries, which willcreate a near-perfect replicaof the item you request. However, there are a couple differences:

Forgeries will cost a fair amount of gold. For example, grimoire forgeries will cost 6,000 goldfor the first copy, then 600 for additional copies. It will also take Ibrahima day or two to make the item.

What Can You Do With Fake Items?

You can use fake items in several ways. You cangift them to pawnsyou dismiss and you canuse them in quests.

Since forged items don’t have the same function as the original, this can affect the outcome of different quests.

Quests likeThe Sorcerer’s AppraisalandSpellbound require grimoires, but there are only so many copies to go around. Rather than try to find additional original copies, you cangive one or both of the questgivers forged copies.

You can alsoreplicate important itemsyou come across to ensure you still have access to them later, like theGaol key from Captain Brantin Vermouth orthe Jadeite Orb.
