If you’ve been playingPax Deifor a little while, you’ve probably already realized that most of your time in this game will go into either looking for materials or crafting items with them. The former part gets much longer as you start looking for better and rarer materials like Copper Ore.
As you explore the world around you, it’ll be quite easy to find Gneiss and Impure Iron, two of the major resources for early game. However, to progress through the different tiers, you’ll have to go out of your comfort zone and look for Copper.
Pax Dei is currently in Early Access, and everything mentioned in this article is subject to change.
How To Get Copper Ore
While looking for Copper Ore, you need to first understand thatyou’ll not get it anywhere near your spawn area. You’ll have to start your journey by looking at the map, where you’ll notice some parts of it covered within a red boundary. You won’t find any copper within this boundary, since these are considered as starting zones.
To get this Ore, you’ll need to first make ajourney to the nearest location outside this red boundary. Technically, you can find this Ore anywhere out here, but the best place to look for them is the Lands Of Stone biome, which can be identified with small rock-shaped icons on the map, and they’re usually found in various locations outside the red boundary.
Apart from Copper, there are a lotmore resources that you can only find in these areas, so it’s always worth checking them out.
As soon as you reach the Lands Of Stone biome, you’ll be able to identify Copper nodes with an orange tint on them. These can then be harvested to get Copper Ore with any Pickaxe. However, it’s recommended to get an Iron Pickaxe before venturing to these lands since it makes the job a lot faster.
Thankfully, creating Copper Ingot from Ore is a little easier since you may make them withevery stack of 20 in the Forge instead of having to go up to 40. You can also further combine Copper and Tin Ingot to create Bronze Ingot.
