TheHelldivers 2community has grown strong and always comes together to complete a major order, whether wiping out a bug infestation or destroying a bot army. But sometimes, the community is asked for tasks that do not involve mass-murdering enemies of Super Earth, such as linking their Steam account with their PlayStation Network one.

Linking both accounts was previously optional for PC players. However, in May 2024, this has been made compulsory. If you fail to comply and link the accounts, you will not be allowed to play the game after the due date.

You mustfirst create a PlayStation Network (PSN) account to link it with your Steamaccount. If youhave one already, then you do not have to create a secondary accountfor this process; the primary or main account will do. If you do not have a PSN account, then you mustvisit the PlayStation websiteand create it.

You can create any regional account if you do not find the region where you live while creating the PSN account.

You willfind a QR code pop-up to linkthe accounts. Afterscanning the code, you will be taken to thePSN sign-in page.Successfully inputting the ID and password will link your Steam account with your PSN one.

Theaccount-linking process will commence from May 30th until June 6thfor current players. However, if you are a new player on Steam, you will begin receiving the account-linking option, starting on May 6th.

Arrowhead handles the current ban, appeal, reporting, and moderation systemof the game. However, once the accounts are linked, the team will get a wider infrastructure and can manage all concerns efficiently.

According to an announcement inArrowhead’s Discord, this process will ensurecontinued support and safety of all the current and new playersso that the community feels safe and continues enjoying the game.
