Empires of the Undergrowthis a game that successfully brings strategy enthusiasts and ant lovers under one roof. In the game’s levels, you manage different ant species and must adapt to their styles. Matabele Ants are quite different from the ones you’ve played with before, and they love hunting termites. These powerful ants will face some tough opponents.
In this battle set in the Savannah, you will encounter giant centipedes, various spider species, and finally, the Emperor Scorpion. Having faced the massive American Bullfrog in previous levels, will you be able to defeat this new formidable enemy? If you’re ready, our guide will be by your ant colony’s side.

How To Kill The Emperor Scorpion
To battle against the Emperor Scorpion, you mustplay the first quest of level five, ‘Triage’. In this level, you will control a new ant species called Matebele Ants. You must choose eitherAnesthetist or Fast Responderas your unit aspect option.
We recommend choosing the Anesthetist because that will help slow down your formidable opponent.

At this level, you will fight some titans, and they will be quite challenging. Some of them include the Sun Spider and the Giant Centipede. One night before you finish the level, the Emperor Scorpion will appear.
Having around50 of the most expensive Matebele Ants(the ones that cost 140 Food) will be sufficient. Additionally, about 20 Medic Ants will help revive your army and serve as cheap soldiers.
The most important thing to watch out for in this level are thethree different termite coloniesyou will see on the map.Never annihilate their queens, as doing so will destroy your food sources. By intercepting the worker termites and, if the termite colony is strong, killing them a bit away from their nests, you may secure a good food source.
If the colony you are attacking starts sending out fewer units, you shouldmove on to another colony.
Before fighting the Emperor Scorpion, having around 1,500 Foodwill be sufficient. Additionally, it will be beneficial to upgrade as many soldier ants as you can.
When there is one night left to complete the level, theEmperor Scorpion will head towards your colony. The game will warn you about an approaching danger on the last night. Therefore, you shouldnot send your soldiers too far from your nest.
Its health depends on the difficulty level you are playing. For example, if you are playing on Medium, it has 30,000 health, and on Impossible, it rises to 70,000. Therefore, on Insane difficulty, you will need more soldiers and more resources.
The Emperor Scorpioncan stun and knock back your ants.Ensure that you do not let it enter your nest during the first encounter. Fight at the outer entrance of your colony. Once you lower its health a bit, it will enter your nest, and at this stage, you must stop it.Having around 25 Worker Antsin your base will help quickly revive dead ants.
Focus all your attention on the Emperor Scorpion because it will use area stuns andhead towards your queen.Even a momentary mistake can be fatal. Since it has a very high attack speed, the Anesthetist aspect you chose initially will be helpful.
If your queen is in danger, you canuse your worker ants as a distraction for a short time, but remember that if all your workers die, your soldier ants will not revive. Thanks to approximately 50 warrior ants, you will defeat this titan in no time and complete the mission.
