The Gloomrot region inV Risingis full of deadly creatures, machines, fire-spewing foes, and mutants crawling every inch of the region. It looks like you shouldn’t visit this area, but there are valuable resources to gather and treasures to unearth.
Tech Scrap is one of the new resources introduced in the Gloomrot expansion. It is a crafting material used in many recipes to create items that make your vampire stronger. This guide explains how to find Tech Scrap and use it in the game.
How To Get Tech Scrap
You must explore the North Gloomrot sectionto get Tech Scrap. This resource iseasily obtained by defeating themechanical automatonsmanned by one person. This new enemy type is found in the following sections of the region:
Besides destroying the mechanical and electrical machines in the Gloomrot region,looting the chests and containersalso gives you a chance toreceive the Tech Scrap.
Gloomrot is the end-game region, and therefore, you must venture here only when youhave high-level gear, preferably between levels 60 and 80.
Where To Use Tech Scrap
You will require the Tech Scrap resource material tocraft the Radium Alloy. This can also befound in loot chests and containers in the North Gloomrot. However, suppose you do not like relying on luck and exploring aimlessly between the high-level enemies of this region. In that case, you need to bring the following materials to a Furnace structure:
You needRadium Alloy to forge ancestral weapons. Many Gloomrot bosses drop weapons in the shattered state, which can be repaired at the Ancestral Forgeusing the Radium Alloy and other rare materials.
You can also use Radium Alloy to craft Power Cores, Large Explosive Boxes, Blood Merlot Amulets, and Obsidian.
How To Get Sulphur And Sludge-Filled Canister
Now that you know how to get Tech Scrap, you must also learn to getthe remaining two ingredients: Sulphur and Sludge-Filled Canister.
Bring theSulphur ore to the furnaceto get Sulphur, and it willsmelter you a Sulphur item.Farbane Woodsis the go-to place tofind a large supply of Sulphur oremined from Sulphur rock nodes.
Explore theBandit Sulphur Quarryon the western coast of this region to find thisresource in ample quantity.
Toget the Sludge-Filled Canister, fabricate an empty canister using the Fabricator. This structure unlocks after defeating Ziva the Engineer. Once you have obtained an empty canister, assign it to a slot andvisit yellow-colored lakesin the south Gloomrot region.
Press the designated key where you assigned the empty canister near the yellow-colored lake, and your character willcollect the yellow slime material from the lakeand put itinto the canister. This is how you collect Sludge-Filled Canister items.
