Gift-giving is a big tradition for the gods and other immortals ofHades 2. This customary gift is well-loved by pretty much every character you’re able to meet, and Melinoe is in the perfect position to be the bringer of joy, gifting it to those she likes (and even those she doesn’t).
As a result, it’s a good idea to grab as much Nectar as you can. Not only will giving Nectar out secure you powerful Keepsakes that will empower Melinoe on her runs, but the more you give, the more opportunities to get to know the colourful cast of characters that will be presented to you.

How To Get Nectar
To begin with, Nectar is non-existent. You will first have tounlock Nectarthrough the use of a particular incantation:Kinship Fortune. This incantation ostensibly only unlocksExotic Goodsfor purchase from the Wretched Broker,who serves as the Crossroads' shopkeeper, but doing so also unlocks Nectar in general.
Casting this incantation will alsoprovide you with a free Nectarto begin with.
Once you have cast Kinship Fortune, Nectar can be acquired in the following ways:
Later in the game, a conversation withAphroditeafter picking up one of her Boons will reveal to you anAlchemy recipe for Nectar. Costing oneGolden Apple(which is obtained from the second boss fight of the surface route), you will receive three Nectar.
