Gathering resources is an essential part ofHades 2. There are tons of different resources in the game, and each has a different purpose that will make you stronger for future runs. Performing Incantations, purchasing Tarot cards, or unlocking new weapons are just a few of the ways you can use resources in the game.

Limestone is an uncommon resource that is mainly used for unlocking certain Incantations, but obtaining it can be tricky. Below, we’ll look at exactly how to get Limestone in Hades 2.

Hades 2 is currently in Early Access, so the information in this guide is subject to change as development progresses.

How To Get Limestone

Limestone is a resource that can be found in Oceanus, thearea after Erebus. It will occasionally spawn in any location in Oceanus, but youneed theCrescentPickin order to mine it. Each Limestone node yieldsthree Limestone pieceswhen mining it with the Crescent Pick.

To get to Oceanus, you’ll first need to defeat the Guardian of Erebus,Headmistress Hecate. Once you’re successful, you can progress down into the second region of the lower path from the Crossroads.

To make gathering Limestone easier, we recommend performing theReagent Sensing Incantation. This will point you to any resources in the location after you defeat the enemies there, ensuring you don’t accidentally skip over them. Also, equip the Crescent Pick to make mining nodes appear more often.

Also, any of theDiscovery Chaos Boonshave achance to double the resources you obtain when gathering(after the debuff has been overcome). This means, if you get lucky on all three swings, you could get six Limestone from a single node. If you see aChaos gate, be sure to enter it for a chance to get either of these Boons.
