With an open-world survival-type MMO likePax Dei, most of your time will be spent looking for resources once you enter the world. You can choose one of the many spawn areas on your first appearance, and you’ll also find various biomes mixing up with each other in small areas.

While some resources can exclusively be found in one of these biomes, Flint isn’t one of them. Instead, you’ll have to make a journey to a specific part of the map to get it, regardless of the biome you’re currently in.

Pax Dei is currently in Early Access, and everything mentioned in this article is subject to change.

How To Find Flint

If you’re looking for Flint in Pax Dei, you’ve likely made a Fletching Workbench and are looking for a way to make some Flinthead Arrows. While this might be whereyou’ll use most of your Flint during the early game, you’ll also need it for certain recipes as you progress through the different ages and start getting high-tier gear.

To get the required Flint, you’ll first have to open your map andfind the fastest route to the nearest water body. This will likely be one of the various rivers across the map or the ponds found in specific corners. Once you get to the water body, you can start looking for specific rocks scattered on the ground.

These rocks will have awhite coating on top of them, which is the main method to separate them from Gneiss rocks.

Once you find these rocks, you can simply get close to them and pick them up. You only get one or two Flint when you pick up a rock, but there’s usually a group of them in the same place. Unfortunately, you can only stack up to 20 Flint rocks in one slot at the moment, so it gets difficult to store a large amount.

In our experience, it was easier to find these rocks in aforest area right beside the river banks, and they spawned in lesser numbers in Grasslands.
