If you aren’t used to open-world games likePax Dei, it can be confusing to figure out what resources you need to get started and where to find them. Flax is a resource you will need to create thread and, eventually, clothing in Pax Dei.

To get Flax, you need to collect Flax nodes from around the world. Once collected, you can use Flax on a spinning wheel to spin the Flax into thread or spools that you can use in clothing, crafting, and armor recipes. To find Flax, look for bunches of red, fern-like plants out in the wild.

What Is Flax?

Flax is ared, fern-like bushthat you’re able to collect in Pax Dei. Like tree branches and gneiss rocks, youdon’t need any special toolsto collect Flax, but you will needspecial crafting stationsto process it.

You can use Flax products atTailoring stationsto create tailored goods.

To collect Flax, walk up to the Flax node, aim your cursor at it, andselect ‘E’to collect the node.

You can hold Flax instacks of 50in your inventory.

Where To Find Flax

Flax can be found almost everywhere in Pax Dei, but you will find it more abundantly in theprairies or mountain steppes, such as innorthern Salias.

Flax tends to spawn inflat, open areas, and you may easily recognize it from itsred color. Flax lookssimilar to Reedsand Barley, but the tell-tale crimson shade is a dead giveaway of its identity.

Be carefulwhen collecting Flax in the steppes or prairies, aswolves tend to spawnin packs in these locations. If you’re going to be venturing out far from home in search of Flax, ensure you arewell-armoredorequipped with good weapons and shieldsin case of attack.
