If you want to look stylish, or if you need more protection than what you spawned in with, cloth will be a very important material to acquire. Nothing is easy inPax Dei, though, and getting cloth will require collecting other materials and crafting benches, before you can actually obtain it.

At least three different crafting benches need cloth, or are needed to create basic cloth. That doesn’t include the higher-tier materials you can gain access to as you progress in the game. This guide will detail every step you need to take in order to get each tier of cloth.

How To Get Cloth

There are a lot of steps to getting your hands on some cloth. The first things you will need are aSpinning Wheel and a Simple Loom.

To craft a Spinning Wheel and Loom you need to craft Basic Tailoring Tools from the Basic Carpenters Workbench. Basic Tailoring Tools will unlock the ability to craft a Spinning Wheel, Simple Loom, and Simple Tailoring Table.

5 Flax Fiber

10 Sapwood

Need help finding resources? Bone Fragments are dropped by killing animals. Flax Fiber is a long red grass that can be found near the water, on mountains, and in grassland.

6 Wooden Pegs

With a Spinning Wheel crafted and placed, you will be able to use Flax Fiber to craftCoarse Linen String, Rough Linen String, and Coarse Wool Yarn. These three items, once crafted, can betaken to a Simple Loom to be turned into cloth.

How To Craft A Simple Loom

The Simple Loom gets unlocked when you craft Basic Tailoring Tools for the first time.This crafting machine allows you to craft actual cloth, which can then be taken to a Tailoring Table andturned into armor.

Coarse Leather String can be acquired by using Rawhide at the Simple Leathering Table.

How To Get Better Tier Cloth

Coarse Linen Cloth, Rough Linen Cloth, and Coarse Wool Cloth are all zero or one Tier cloths in Pax Dei. You can get better cloth material the more you progress in the game. To unlock better cloth, you need toupgrade your Tailoring skill level and discover new materials.

Leveling up your crafting skills unlocks new recipes. Collecting some new resources in the game will also unlock new recipes for you. There areseven more types of clothyou can craft.
