XDefiantis a fast-paced arena shooter where you can choose from characters belonging to different factions drawn from iconic Ubisoft franchises, like Far Cry and Watch Dogs. In XDefiant, you can pick out a character with unique abilities and level them up tounlock new weaponsand attachments, which can give you an edge in combat, and speedthrough the Battle Pass.
While you normally get experience by playing matches, killing other players, and completing challenges, XDefiant allows you to use XP and Weapon XP Boosters, which can multiply your experience gain for a limited amount of time.
How To Get More XP Boosters
Currently, XDefiant doesn’t let you purchase Battle Pass XP or Weapon XP Boosters directly. Whileall new players get five 20-minute Weapon XP Boosters whenthey start playing XDefiant, there are a couple of ways to get more boosters and keep the XP flowing:
Battle Pass
The primary way to get more XP and Weapon XP boosters is bycompleting levels in XDefiant’s Battle Pass.Unfortunately, only one of them is free and the rest are exclusive to thePremium Battle Pass, which means you need to purchase the Battle Pass to unlock them.

Twitch Drops
For the firstsix weeks after XDefiant’s launch(from Jun 03, 2025, to June 12, 2025), you can grab a Weapon XP Booster and other freebies bywatching 90 minutes of any XDefiant stream on Twitch.

Ubisoft Connect Challenges
You can also win a handful of XCoins, XP, and Weapon XP Boosters by completing the weeklyUbisoft Connect Challenges.These challenges can be as simple as winning two matches in a row or getting 100 kills with a particular gun. These weeklies are available on theUbisoft Connect app on PC.

How To Use XP Boosters
To activate an XP or Weapon XP Booster in XDefiant,you need to be in a multiplayer lobby.Once you’re in the lobby, click on theActivate Boosterbutton on the right side of the screen.
Next, select which booster you wish to activate. You can use multiple boosters at once and the time will stack. Once a booster is active, you’ll gaindouble experience pointsas you play.
XP Boosters are not reusable, so only use them if you plan on playing for the allotted time, or else the boosters will go to waste.
