The best way to gather food and resources is to use your workers for scavenging. Having idle survivors around your base only leads to more resource wastage. Sometimes, you might run out of free workers because of too many tasks. So, here’s how you may get and assign workers in Infection Free Zone.
How To Get More Workers In Infection Free Zone
There aren’t many ways by which you can get more workers; you get more workers when you accept more survivors into your zone. You can encounter such groups of survivorseither while scavenging or exploring the map (yellow squads),where they can appear from time to time.
If you have researched and built the Antenna on your base, you canuse the “Invite” option from the Transmission menuto invite survivor groups to your base. you’re able to alsoreceive transmissions to accept new survivors, and if you’re lucky enough,groups of survivors can even come to your base directly.
If you’re running low on workers,you can disband your squads during the day to get extra workers. But be sure to create new squads from the HQ before nightfall.
How To Assign Workers To Jobs In Infection Free Zone
If you want to assign workers to specific jobs and control how many workers you want to dedicate to each task,the best option is to use the “Citizen Panel” in the lower-left corner of the screen.
The citizen panelgives you complete control over the worker populationon the base and allows you to assign a specific number of workers to each job. If you want to increase the number of workers in construction and reduce the number of scavenging workers,you can do so with a few clicks on the citizen panel.
