InHades 2, Melinoe ventures to the Underworld and the surface to slay bosses and stop Chronos, Titan of Time. While she is an excellent witch who is great at using versatile weapons, Melinoe is not all about war. She can be affectionate towards gods and other characters in the game.
Items allow Melinoe to bond with the gods, giving boons to her and other characters at Crossroads, such as Headmistress Hecate and Odysseus. Items such as Ambrosia can be used for communal activities and unlocking incantations. This guide explains how to get and use Ambrosia in the game.

How To Get Ambrosia
Toacquire Ambrosia, interact with theWretched Broker and purchase it from him. This vendor onlyaccepts the Bones as currency, so you must have atleast 500 to buy one Ambrosia item.
However, after you haveunlocked the Rite of Social SolidarityIncantation, theWretched Broker only starts offering Ambrosiaunder the Exotic Goods section. A Teverna also becomes accessible in the Crossroads to socialize with certain characters and raise their affinity with Melinoe. How To Get Nectar And Garlic
Nectar is acquired while doing runs andgetting it as a rewardafter clearing an encounter with theNectar icon on its door. Nectar isalso available from the Wretched Brokerunder theExotic Goods section. You buy this byexchanging 30 Bones.
To obtain garlic, you must firstgather the garlic clovesusing theSilver Spade toolwhile doingruns in the City of Ephyrabiome. Then, when you are back at Crossroads,plant the cloves on a soil plot.
How To Get To The City Of Ephyra
TheCity of Ephyra is not in the Underworldbut on the surface. To reach here, you mustfirstbreak the ward to the surfaceby unlocking thePermeation of Witching-Wards incantation. You will need the following items to unlock this incantation:
Once you haveopened the path to visit the surface, expect to find some of thetoughest boss encountersin the game, such asEris boss fight,Cyclops Polyphemous, andCharybdis the Devouring.
Where To Use Ambrosia
The best caseuse of Ambrosiain the gameis for unlocking the Insight Into Offerings Incantation. While the Book of Shadows shows the gods' names and a short description of each one,this incantation reveals a complete list of boonsin the book.
Nectar, Bath Salts, and Twin Lures increase affinity with key characters and gods in the game. Similarly,Ambrosia will also increase affinitywith the characters Melinoe interacts with.
However, in thegame’s current state,romancing or giving Ambrosiato raise affinityis not possible.
